INTRODUCTION
Academic & Research Skills are quite crucial because they help a lot in ensuring that the
overall level of efficiency and effectiveness in the students can be developed in the right manner.
Thus the use of these type of skills can be quite helpful in ensuring that a person is able to attain
the desired goals and objectives in the future (Ain, Sabir and Willison, 2019). This report is
useful in ensuring that the bar of standards can be raised for a person to ensure personal
development in the future. In this report, detailed focus will be made on reflection on learning,
note taking, carrying out an academic research project. Additionally, specific focus will be made
on reflection made on own progress as a part of this project.
MAIN BODY
Scenario- I am a student who is studying in the university. Thus as a student I have to
make sure I am able to target the development of my own skills and competencies in the right
manner which will help me a lot in ensuring that I am able to attain my goals and objectives in
the future without facing problems and issues.
Task 1
Personal Skills Audit- This can be helpful in ensuring that a thorough assessment of a
person can be done so that the different types of areas for improvement can be identified (Allison
and et.al. 2016). This can help a lot in ensuring that the overall efficiency and effectiveness level
can be enhanced.
Personal Strengths Personal Weaknesses
 I am able to communicate well with my
different teammates which helps me a
lot in ensuring that I am able to attain
the desired goals and objectives without
problems and issues.
 I have to ensure that by carrying out a
proper cooperation and coordination I
am able to develop good understanding
with the team members which can help
 I have not developed administrative
skills which are therefore affecting my
personal development and the
leadership abilities.
 I am not very proactive in nature and
this affects me a lot by creating an
impact on my team management skills.
