Concerned with issues which enables citizens to actively participate, question and
improve democracy in the country.
Civics and citizenship is a curriculum aimed at developing students’ knowledge and
understanding on legal and political institutions and explores nature of citizenship in a
liberal democracy.
Civics is the study of citizenship
Civics creates understanding on the rights and responsibility of them citizens such as
serving on the juries and engaging in political process in the county.
Citizenship plays an important role to students and youths as it help them to be self
confidence and have a sense of agency thus allows them to successfully deal with life
challenges like discrimination.
Citizenship gives student voice; in their schools and community at a large.

they played greeter role in ending the war. They are the super power nations.

not democratic. Yes, democracy is necessary. This to enable other members to exercise
their democratic rights in veto power.

Non government organizations
Voice- voice for is a non government organization which was formed back in 2018 in the
eastern region of Canada following oppression members of the community were going through
while seeking for job. They were being bullied and their rights were not considered as platform
or organization they could raise their grievances to; therefore, we decided to form this
organization with other human right activist.
The primary goal of the organization to protect human rights by ensuring equality in places of
work by negotiating for the respect of human rights and better pay for the employees.
To achieve our goals, the organization has been campaigning against human right violation and
equality in places of work by recruiting more members from various firms. Visiting some of the
plantations and companies has also been a strategy to ensure the goals of the organization is
achieved since through visiting the factories, we will be able to observe the activities of that
particular company visited in respect to human rights.
The organization operates in Canada specifically within the esteem region. The organization is
based on the eastern part of the country thus following increasing cases of human rights violation
in factories.
Since it was founded in 2018, the organization has not done more remarkable impacts thus
following various challenges like financial constraints but it has been involved in campaign for

other human right organization in terms of donations since it concerned with the welfare of
