management of the international relations that require to put effective emphasis on pursuit of
security as adapting, Balance of Power, and depending on self for the security (Taliaferro,
2011).
2. Realism to describe the Sino-American relationship
Realism theory delivers the most dominant clarification for the state of war and the
vicissitudes of great powers. This theory helped to maintain the issue of the Sino-American
relationship in three steps; first step stand from commercialism in 1784 to empire-building in
1899; next step describe , from supremacy in 1900 to battle in 1949; and last phase, from
opponents in 1950 to best beating competitors in 2009 (He, 2017).
The main weaknesses of the Realist approach to Security Studies
The realism theory applies the domination of the powerful strengths but it seems to be
applicable in this theory only in the theoretically applicable. Present challenging situations
according to anarchy require practical implication of power balance and pursuit to securities
that is not practically identified by the realism.
3. Accounts for the rise in religious terrorism
Religious aspect is dominant for the human from any other control; subsequently this has
become a main leading factor of terrorism in recent years. Raise of the religious terrorisms
has risen after an unforgettable suicide terrorist attack of 09/11. This represented the concept
that prevail in the terrorisms is based to manage their religious identity and satisfaction.
