The St. John’s Disaster Plan
The impact of disaster is normally ambiguous it creates a big loss and even a lot of
suffering to people. St John Hospital Disaster management Plan have great way in solving a
problem, they provide policy for both external and internal disaster situation that may affect
hospital staff, patients and the community and this makes them to be strong since they find it
possible to remedy the situation. According to St John hospital, there are several hazards they
include internal disaster like fire explosion, we have floods, tornados and also external disasters
involving small casualties.
Normally even if the system is very strong, some adjustment and improvement should be
made in order to close the loopholes that will allow to the increase of the problem and even
endangers more. In rural areas there should be an increase in telecommunication capabilities this
makes it easier to reach and individual with a problem.
Training, this is one of the best way of improving away preventing this disaster that even
kills our children at younger age sometimes at bath by having good couching to our nurses on the
way to handle patient and even when a tragedy has occurred (Hogan & Burstein, 2012). And in
training one should know their duty and how they can protect themselves and even the sick
people. The organization should also include protection of the members and even the staff,
through protection one get motivated and even have a good attitude and trust in the organization
since there is assurance that he or she will get help.
In consideration for the people in rural areas a lot of facilities need to be implemented
things such as transport facilities, communication lines and even availability and accountability
the people in charge.
