4 Introduction In order to ensure the functioning of the organisation in an effective and efficient manner, the aspect pertaining to leadership must be taken into account accordingly. It further implies that an incredible leader plays an important role with regard to the growth and development of an organisation. There are various aspects pertaining to leadership as far as the modus operandi of an ideal organisation in the contemporary era is concerned. The contingency theory of leadership is the most viable as it implies the decision undertaken by a leader with regard to the reaction to the undertaking of the decision in a proper and appropriate manner with regard to the situation in question (Yahaya and Ebrahim, 2016). The main aim of the report is to present an overview in relation to the management of changes taking place in an organization as a result of leadership as far as the higher management of the organization is concerned pertaining to the policies and frameworks. The organization would be Homerton University Hospital. It is a hospital located in the London Borough of hackney and controlled by the Homerton University Hospital National Health Service Trust. As a result, the aspect of leadership pertaining to health care industry of the United Kingdom may also be taken into consideration accordingly along with the policies and procedures of the National Health Service. The aspect pertaining to the approaches of leadership hitherto undertaken by the University Hospital would be taken into account along with the demands pertaining to the organization in the future as far as its progress is concerned accordingly.
