INTRODUCTION
Now a day, most of the individuals like to spend much of their time in social media sites
in order to have fun and enjoyment. Instragram is one such platform that offers teenagers to post
their photo share their ideas, view with other individuals or friend residing in different parts of
the country. So, this report has covered information pertaining to the way Instragram has
influence the lives of teenagers. Thereby the study focused on resolve the problem pertaining to
the negative impact of Instragram on live of teenagers such as it cause anxiety, feeling of
depression etc. Moreover, the report has contained aim and objectives, background, methodology
and finding in order to extract useful information pertaining to topic for better outcome.
1.1 Aims and objective
The aim and objective of study is to gathered information pertaining to influence of
Instragram on life of teenagers in recent circumstances. Moreover, this topic has been selected
for the study because there are many of the teenagers specially girls that are making use of
Instragram to post photo, video in order to gain more and more like and comment. All these have
lead in increasing curiosity, anxiety among teenagers to look good and pretty, imitate the trends
and culture of others such as celebrities (Sireni, 2020). They are more influence to follow the
instruction or activity done by them thus it has influence on their lifestyles as well as behaviour.
So the main objective behind studying related to influence of Instragram on teenager is to
understand its negative impact and find alternative solution which could be used to resolve
problem.
1.2 Background information
From the secondary research, it has been examined that Instrgram has most detrimental effects
on mental health and well being of teenagers. As it lead in causing health issue such as anxiety,
depression and many more among young adults that negative impact on their life. There are
around 1 billion people that are making use of Instragram and among them 51% are women users
and remaining 49% are male. Such as Instragram rank second most used social sites after
Facebook for different purpose by teenagers. Moreover, it has been identified that around 30
minute are spend by every users on Instragram to see video, like comment and share image or
gather necessary information (Rashid and Zaaba, 2020). At the same time there are 500 million
people that use stories every day so all such facts clearly states that Instragram is used by each
