4 ABSTRACTThe aim of this paper is to stylistically analyze the Walt Whitman Poem, O Captain! My Captain. This poem of Walt Whitman is famous because of the political and tribute aspect of Abraham Lincoln. In this poem, the poet has expressed his sorrow at the death of the most beloved and great leader. The analysis in this paper has been conducted under the aspects of Graphlogical, Grammatical and Phonological levels, and patterns. The significance and the literature that has been written on Walt Whitman is also commenced in this paper.
