1. Watch the video segment titled "Business Problems/Ethics." How does the
globalization of business affect how you would analyze the ethical issues
surrounding the use of child labor around the world?
Globalisation has a key role to play in the exploitation of child labour around the world,
especially in the third world countries. Most of the manufacturing outlets are being set up in
the less developed countries like Bangladesh and Africa, to reap the advantage of cheap
labour available there (Bulajic & Domazet, 2012). The companies are able to reduce the costs
of their manufacturing, but on the other hand, it is creating jobs for children in these
countries, as they come for a cheap price and also because their parent make them work there
to get money to feed their families. (Page, 2016) Most of the time they work in inhumane

the person. An incident which I recall during my schooldays wherein I was supposed to
submit a project, and the deadline had approached. I got tempted to use the project submitted
by my brother three years back, but doing so would have been wrong. This is a classic
example of temptation. With better sense prevailing, I decided to take help of my brother who
had done similar projects in the past and complete the project in a night’s time.
Another incident happened recently when I spotted one of my friend with a girl who was
dating another friend of mine at the same time. I was confused as to what to do in such a
scenario. Should I tell the other friend that his girlfriend was cheating on him or should I
warn the friend that the girl with whom he was on a date was already in a relationship with
someone else. This is a classic case of ethical dilemma. In both the scenario I will be going to
