INTRODUCTION Network design is defined as the using of the different wire and wireless cables which is used in the designing of the networking in the organisations. It is essential to know the needs and requirements of using the network and also the budgeting as well so that the security concerns can be considered while designing the network(BenSaleh, Saida, Kacem and Abid, 2020). The current article is based on the 10th steps in network designing. MAIN BODY Identifying the business requirements is the first stage in which the organisation collects the requirements which are provided by the company and also work on the network strategy which must be implanted while keeping the financial aspect in consideration. identifying the network requirements is the second stage which is based on the goals and objectives of the conceptual network. This stage evaluates the location of the network and the other network system which is already installed. It also conducts the gap analysis and operation environment which is to be proposed in the network(Radosavovic, Kosaraju, Girshick and Dollár, 2020). Drawing the network diagram is the third stage in which the technical requirements and the business needs are assessed in order to formulate the physical and logical design. It outlines the entire scope of the proposed network which is helpful in the future troubleshoot or in any error detection and mitigation. Network diagram is very detailed which must be updated in order to keep it secure. Network implementation is The Fourth stage in which the different approaches of network designing are documented so that the proper time frame can be decided and testing can be performed. Building a network prototype is the 5th stage in which the diagram of the entire network building is drawn either by using the system or on the pen or paper so that the actual implementation can get the idea of the locations which further helps in the testing and detecting the errors along with the mitigation of it. Network designing document is the 6th stage in which the document is formulated which covers all the aspects of the network designing which includes the current benefits and future benefits along with the business requirements and entire detailing of the networking and its concepts. implementing the design is the seventh stage in which actual implementation takes place where the prototyping is converted into the real network with proper specifications without any disruptions into the existing network. Monitoring and managing is the eight stage in which the implemented networking design is monitored and managed with proper 1
updates and security aspects where the extra features are also added to the network. Optimization is the 9th stage in which the identification of the issues are done along with the resolving them. Security is the 10th stage in which the intrusion and data theft is detected so that the firewall and intrusion prevention system can be installed accordingly as per the business resources and infrastructure(Zappone, Di Renzo and Debbah, 2019). CONCLUSION It is concluded that network designing is an important concept to learn and study so that it's practical applications and stages can be followed up in a systematic and strategic manner. Therefore it is important to assess the different stages in network designing. hence the above discussion covers all such areas in order to better understand the concept of different stages in network designing. 2
