INTRODUCTION Globalization is the process in which people spread their ideas, products and their goods or services throughout the world so they can interact or integrate with the world's culture and government and economies. It is the applying process of movement of the people, knowledge and moderntechnologyacrosstheworldandalsoitwouldbeincludethatculturaland political,environmental discourse. In this report we discuss about the impact of globalization on an aspect of international football business like how globalization can affect the business of the individual organizationand how it would be helpful for the organization or not. UEFA is an international continental governing bodies which is responsible for organizing the international tournaments and men's or women's world cup. Globalization affect UEFA in many ways like global mass media, increasing the flow of communication, speed of transportation and increase in environmental protection as well. The present report targeted at examining the impact of globalization on UEFA operations. Moreover, the report will also includes the main governing bodies that influence football business functioning. In addition to this, various analytical tools will be applied like PESTLE to analyse the external environment of international football confederation, UEFA. (1). Essential elements that define a business environment in football organization Businessenvironmentinfootballorganizationhavevariouselementsincludessport promotion segment and advertising, sales promotion, public relation etc. Football business also includes the concept of marketing micro-environment and it is totality forces beyond company's influence boundary. The mostessential element is the sponsorship in a football organization because without sponsorship none of the activities would be conducted and proper branding would not be there. The next comes proper maintenance of football ground for the match so it would be profitable for the organization as well as the each individual player of the team. Proper advertising and branding should be done in order to attract more audience for improving the business growth which will affect the market shares. Moreover making the successful business environment teams are also play vital role in the organization like they have to learn that how to help one another and improving their quality and make them realise their true potential and strengths and allows to go beyond the boundaries and improve their game (Hartmann, 2017). In a football organization to improve the business environment, team management is the most common factor so that each individual member know their own quality and improve theBusiness environment is very important for every international and national organization and it is categorized into two groups: macro environment and micro-environment and it is very important to make a good balance
between both the environment for the growth of the organization. Economic regulation is the main factor that include in business environment at both international level and local level organization mainly economy of the UEFA organization is very specific at a certain level and specify for the local level national organization, natural environment is a external factor included in the business environment because business can not fully control on natural environment many of the reasons are includes like raining, floods, earthquake and many more these are the factors that affect the business environment of the UEFA (Waalkes, 2014). In this organization internal environment consist of several factors like plans and policy, human resources, financial resources, team management. Plan of the organization is that they make strategies to improve their game day by day and also have a perfect planning to win the game and responsibility is on the higher authority of the organization. Business environment is a set of external factors that affect the decisions, external factors simply mean that which factors that lies outside of the organization but affect the whole processing like how business will grow and what are the major issues faced by the organization and many more. In UEFA the business environment is very good as compare to the other organization because of the rules and regulation followed by them is more effective and concise (Vahlne and Jonsson, 2017). Security is the major factor stands for the growth of the businesses and it is a pivotal component of any successful event, match, and fans and supporters who are attending the tournaments. Stadium safety and security strikes the balance between the design and management. The UEFA security provides expert and specialist advice regarding the safety and security at major events (O’Brien, Young, and Finch, 2017). (2).Understand the role of governing bodies and their key partners Sports governing bodies comes in various forms and have variety of regulatory functions, and it would be include that disciplinary actions for the rule change and rule infractions ,rules and regulations of the sports, Governing bodies have various and different scopes like they have to manage a range of the sport at international level. National body may be affiliated to the international governing bodies for the same sport. UEFA is the international governing body of association football and as a world governing body it must fulfil numerous different requirements and it has played a pioneering role amongst all the international sporting federations in the area of governance. Every sport has a different governing body and that can define the way that sport is operate through society. The role of international governing bodies is that they can take disciplinary action for rule infractions and deciding the rule changes in the particular sport they govern and governing bodies have different scopes but they responsible for one sport and they create a common set of rule for the different national governing bodies and make sure that they follow the same rule at international level of the game. International football association board(IFAB) is one of the main council which decide the law of the game and ensure that the organization followed the rules, this board controlled both national and international associations and the national associations like English, Scottish, Welsh and North Irish. (3).Impact of decision made at an international level on the sport at a local level Decision making is a fundamental element of any sport like football, volleyball, soccer, rugby and basketball. This is the way to succeed in winning the game at national and international level. UEFA is the national organization of European football and they made the perfect decision to win the game in any situation and that decisionis directly impact on the local level sport players and encourage them. Decision making is also includes coaching experience and leadership style. This leadership style can be implemented in the decision making situation in the sport, a right decision can change the whole game instantly so the decision making is play a vital role to win the game. Perfect decision makingat the international level can directly affect the local level game in many ways like emerging players of the particular sport may improve themselves. Players must have to know that whether mistake are tactical,technical or both and then improve their quality in game. At local level game in small cities, they make their strategies through watching the international level strategies and improve their own tactics and make useful decision to improve the
game. Local level game follow the strategies which is used to win the game at any level or any situations and they set small target for the match and follow the same and then they move towards to achieve their final goal. (4). PESTLE analysis of UEFA football organization PESTLE ANALYSIS PESTLEanalysisstandsforpolitical,economical,sociological,technological,legal, environmental. These 6 factors are directly or indirectly affect the business of the organization. Political factors Itincludes the current political issues and situations like government policy change, taxes laws and tariffs or entry mode regulations. If policy of the government is changed then it is directly affect the business. Governing bodies like AFC, CONMEBOL, CAF, CONCACAF, OFC are also affectthepoliticalenvironmentoftheUEFA.Politicalfactorscancreateadvantagesand opportunities for the organization in several ways(Bhoomaiah, Jayasree, 2017). Economical factors It involve all the determinants of economy like the inflation rate, the interest rate, credit accessibility, unemployment rates,disposable income of buyers. If the organization is strong economically then the business growth is increases accordingly. UEFA is a multi-billion dollar company and economically very strong. This is the reason why these organization must be connected to each other and know the ups and down of the trend. Media and press also plays a major role to improving the growth of the organization in many ways like they promote the game and the live coverage of the match attract more fans towards the game. When technology is changed the game is also changes and more effective as compare to the previous technologyand theworldcup havelong termeffecton the newmarket trend(Maroukian, Apostolopoulos, Tsaramirsis, 2017). To be very effective and sustainable in these efforts sport personnel need to make the environmental strategies for overall organization operations. Moreover in the environmental factors it would also include that disasters like cyclone and downpour which is directly affect the match and then it also affect the business of that organization.
