INTRODUCTION
Talent management is basically a systematic process to analyse the vacant position,
recruiting pool of candidates, hiring a qualified candidate, enhancing and developing the skills of
that candidate for matching the position along with retaining them for achieving the long term
organisation objectives. This deals in attracting, engaging, motivating and retaining the best and
the skilled employees for the company. The companies develop and implement various talent
management strategies for retaining the best employees which can help in gaining the greatest
competitive edge (Jooss, Burbach and Ruël, 2019). This research is based on the talent
management at Eagle Eye Solutions which is basically a SaaS digital platform which helps in
allowing the retailers for creating a real-time and intelligent connection with the customers
(Eagle Eye Solutions Group Plc., 2021). The company considers its employees as its biggest
assets. This is why; the company delivers high-tailored awards through personalisation by
driving the customer loyalty at all the sales channels. The company helps the other businesses for
improving the employees’ performance by providing the digital platforms to the retail and the
other industries (Poisat, Mey and Sharp, 2018).
Research Aims and Objectives
Aim
To assess the significance of talent management for entrepreneurs and small business. A
study on Eagle eye solutions.
Objectives
To understand the concept of talent management.
To evaluate different methods of talent management for Eagle eye solutions.
To analyse the significance of talent management in Eagle eye solutions (Naim and
Lenka, 2017).
To provide necessary recommendations on challenges faced by small business while
addressing talent management.

Rationale
The main reason behind doing the research is that the talent management plays a major
role in improving the productivity as well as profitability of the company as if the employees of
the organisations are skilled and qualified then the company can take the challenges and can
overcome them with the help of talented employees. Whether it is an enterprise level business or
start-up, managing the talents after hiring is the most important thing to do for ensuring long
term stability and growth (Glaister and et.al., 2018). This is also true that managing the talent is
not an easy task to be done by the company especially the HR managers. This is extremely time-
consuming and hard task which includes tracking of all the things from recruiting and hiring to
the career planning, employee development, mentoring the employees and many more.
Therefore, the secondary reason for this research is to cope up with the challenges which are
faced while implementing the talent management strategies. Furthermore, it is must for the
companies to satisfy the needs and wishes of the talented and highly qualified employees so that
they have a sense of belongingness towards the company and performs the task efficiently and
effectively. This is why, it is most important for the company to manage the talent so that they
can stay in the company in the long run (Gallardo-Gallardo, Thunnissen and Scullion, 2020). Its
need is more observed at times of pandemic of COVID-19 when the employees have large
number of options of job where their talent can be recognised and valued. Eagle Eye solutions
can be facilitated by this research which can help in recruiting and retaining the best talented
employees.

Significance
This research will benefit the HR managers of Eagle Eye solutions who will come to
know about the ways in which qualified and skilled employees can be retained. The research will
also benefit the other such companies who face problems and issues in managing the talent at the
organisations. The companies need to implement certain strategies which can be identified in this
research. This will also facilitate the other researchers who wish to study and research about the
new ways and the new concept of talent management and its benefits to the established
organisations as well as the start-ups (Mupepi, 2017). The companies like Eagle Eye solutions
will come to know about the ways in which they can be benefitted by the talent management
strategies. This will also help the candidates joining the company as they will be aware of the
talent management scenario at the company (MuratbekovaTouron, Kabalina and Festing, 2018).
The stakeholders of the company will also be benefitted by this research as they will be getting
enough idea of the employees and their skills in the company which can create trust in the
company which encourage them to invest in the company. Not only this, the employees will also
become motivated as their work and talents will be valued and they will contribute towards the
progress of the company as well as themselves.
