4IntroductionLeadership and conflict resolution are two basic factors in the success of an organisation. Bothact as key element in organizational behaviour. Leadership acts as creator of new talent throughwhich skills of manpower are channelized to a new direction. However, conflicts withinworkplace destroy the talent of the employees and create a barrier in developing new skills.There lies a deep relationship between leadership and conflict resolution. The assignment isapproaching towards in establishing these relationships. In last 30 years, the conflict resolutionprocess has been changed in case of non-union companies. It has been observed that differentsystems become inadequate such as contemporary system [ CITATION May12 \l 1033 ].In 20thcentury’s last half such work appeared to have been abandoned by scholarly studies thatconcentrate on technologies, sociotechnical relations, and managementbehaviours in theorganisation.Question 1Various concept, theories and model of leadership and the relationshipbetween leadership and conflict resolutioni) Transformational leadership:Recently, the leaders are providing most of the focuses on the Bass model transformationalapproaches.[ CITATION Pic10 \l 1033 ]. This theory shows the new concept of the leadershipthat provides highest concentration on the transformational leadership approaches.Mainly future needs of the organisation are considered by the transformational leaders ratherthan present needs for the organisation. It has been observed that in the leadership approach, theextra as well as intra organisational related factors are not considered but the leaders are mainlyconsidered the long-term issues of the company.Transformational and transactional leadershipare leadership styles that are opposite to each other.
