Introduction
. Financial Management help the company to manage its operation properly as the
organization is able to manage the business operation easily and effectively. The purpose of
this report is to show about the business of AMCOR. AMCOR is a packaging company
which carry its business globally (Almamy, Aston and Ngwa 2016). The purpose for which
this report is been made is to show about how the company is managing it accounting
principles in their financial report. It describe the analysis of organization reports which help
user to know about the performance of the company and able to judge whether it able to
maintain its performance in the business or not. The report activities of business as it show
about the industry in which the company is dealing, the activities which is been performed by
the organization (Armstrong et al., 2015). It also shows the composition of Board of
Directors of the company and also whether it is good to invest in business or not. It show
about the Corporate Governance aspects of organization which should be followed by
business.
Overview of the Company
Amcor is one of major public company in Australia, and it one of the largest
packaging company globally (Amcor.com 2019). The company usually deal with rigid
containers, medical-device and many other products. It can be said that the company is
working in packaging industry. Amcor is having a high number of employees in the base
which is there in Australia and it also have other subsidiary in different country.
It has made its segment in different section so that it can able to diversify the
resources properly in the business. It has employed more than 35211 people as employee in
the company and its also able to have operation in more than 200 distance will carrying the

business in 40 countries (Amcor.com 2019). The segments it has divided itself is in two
segments as Flexibles Packaging and Rigid Packaging.
The unit of Flexible packaging is made for the manufacture of folding cartons and
flexible packaging and it carry business in four business unit which take into consideration
Flexibles America, Middle East Africa, Flexibles Europe and Flexibles Asia Pacific.
The unit of Rigid Packaging is the largest manufacture of rigid packaging and it also
carries the business in four units Latin Beverage, North America Beverage, Bericap Closure
and North America Specialty Containers.
