Executive summary
The paper helped in evaluating the case 5854/19 by facilitating guidance to the Crime Scene
Investigator by advising on exhibits with high evidential implication guidance were provide to
that refute or supports the allegations of an attempted murder, vehicle arson and drug facilitated
sexual assault. Major techniques and methods were compared and utilized by gaining
information from Medical examiner regarding the exhibits. In order to analyze several exhibits
there was restricted cost and time. It was recommended to gather evidences for future
investigation by medical experts. The evidences helped in solving the problem whether Tracey
Blenkinsop got sexually assaulted and the major reason behind the attempt to set fire in the
vehicle and whether Jamie Wood was suspected in both the situations.

Introduction
Based on the case 5854/19, the investigation was done based on 3 significant crimes such as an
attempted vehicle arson, attempted murder and drug facilitated sexual assault.
Attempted Murder
Within this case, Jamie Wood was the victim who was attempted to murder in Albert Park,
Middlesbrough which occurred in Wood’s vehicle GC18 FTR. While investigating for this
crime, the cloths of the victim will be utilized and to recognize anything that may result in
linking Daniel Mansfield or someone else within the crime by utilizing presumption testing for
blood.
Vehicle arson
The attempted arson of Wood’s vehicle GC18 FTR, has been recovered from Albert Park,
Middlesbroug. For further investigation the vehicle will be examined to recognize clues based on
the attempted murder and main cause of the fire.
Drug facilitated sexual assault
The first crime took place at King Edwards Square, Middlesbrough, where the property belonged
to Jamie Wood with Tracey Blenkinsop as the deceptive victim. The purpose of this
investigation will be to conduct examination to refute or support the evidence of sexual assault or
