Project goals
During the time of retreat, Fred Splient was residing with his parents and family. Fred has
been an active member of sandwich generation. It was observed that his parents have been aging
in a very fast rate and hence they were facing issues that are generally faced by most of the
geriatric generations. Need of medication has been an issue that was bothering Fred. Fred was
having a thought that in case the hospitals increase the facility of providing treatment to people
to assisted living facility. As he thought that this aspect will be benefitting the treatment process
as well as the old people can be kept under constant checkup. Hence Fred along with his business
development team started preparing an estimated of the cost that will be incurred in executing
the plan of introducing assisted living in the hospitals. St. Dismas Medical Centre is a nonprofit
health center that consists of 450 bed rehabilitation. This hospital center has also been lacking
the financial balance as they have been lacking number of patients visiting the center has been
decreasing in a rapid rate. Hence Fred thought of incorporating the functional process of business
management with the thought process that he have decided. He has asked his team to perform
proper analysis for getting authenticated data for understanding of the cost management process.
Competitive analysis is also performed for better understanding the chance of success of the
project. Different options that are present for the processing of architecture that will be
implemented. Interviewing of the companies for better understanding of the process has been
acting beneficial in the functional processing of assisted living process. Pre-eliminary business
plan are implemented for better understanding of profit making. The main goal of the project is
to provide 110-150 residents. Diversification in between the heavy assisted and medium assisted
patients will also be made. Another major goal for completion of the project is to complete
proper provisioning of the medical focus for proper physical and occupational therapy programs.

Project objectives
Objective 1: The main objective of the project is to set up an assisted living facility. This ensures
that the old people who opt to choose this option for getting a more comfortable life for
themselves. This will be performed in collaboration with St. Dismas Medical Centre.
Objective 2: Performing proper project planning has also been an important aspect that will be
providing proper management in the section of project execution phases.
Scope statement
Justification
As per the justification of the project the main concern that is present includes the fact
that proper management of health related issues regarding people with growing age can be made.
With the help of the stated project goal this will be helping both the old people as well as their
near ones will be enjoying convenience regarding their health system. Hence taking up of this
project will be a win-win situation. Again the feasibility of the project has been a major aspect
that execution of the project will be very high.
Product Scope description
Scope of the project is to serve the old people who needs constant treatment for leading a
healthy life. This is the main aspect that will be ensuring that project management gets
performed in a manner that will be affecting the management of the lifestyle of the people
receiving the service. Earning proper revenue from this project has also been a major aspect that
is to be followed. A time is to be prepared and the entire project will be performed with higher
