Executive Summary
MDO Inc wants to broaden their product into different market of the world. We, Maestros as a
consultant have researched all the market and tried to find the best match within their
objective. We have also tried to find some alternatives in the process if they do not agree with
us. We have chosen Luxembourg to be the best fit for their revenue management platform. The
product itself is new to the market and they want to make the best out of it. Our target and
suggestion is to make the product fit to the market and expand to the different horizon to their
customers. As instructed from MDO Inc we have evaluated their demographic data,
geographical data, consumer, people, cultural data along with their competitor analysis is also
done by us. We have conducted a brief research of their communication channel, method and
evaluated other metrics to reach their customer in an efficient way.

Introduction
Luxembourg is in Northern Europe and bordered by Belgium, France, and Germany.
Luxembourg is the smallest country in the European Union with blend of Dutch, old German,
Frankish elements that us spoken by most of the native population. Luxembourg has a moderate
continental climate, characterized by mild winters and cool summers. The high peaks of the
Ardennes in the north provide shelter from the rigorous north winds. Rainfall is plentiful with
precipitation throughout the country averaging about 75 cm.
Luxembourg Airport, Findel Airport, is located 4 miles east of the city on the Grevenmacher
route. Luxair is a national airline which flies to 21 European destinations. Luxembourg operates
a large rail network, serving all European destinations. It is one of the most convenient and cost-
effective means of transport to reach the capital. It has endured some difficulties, however, due
to competition with road transport. Taxis are readily available, but they are an expensive choice.
A 10% tip is popular for taxi drivers. Travel time from the airport to the city center is about 15
minutes.

History:
Luxembourg, a small country in northwestern Europe, surrounded by Belgium on the western
and northern part, France on the south, and Germany on the northeast and the eastern side.
German, French and Luxembourgish are the three languages of this country. The recorded
history of the country has the roots in ROMAN times, but the proper history of Luxembourg has
begun in 963. The evolution of the powerful House of Luxembourg over the following times, has
made a contribution for the extinction of the country’s independence. In1477, the country has
been passed to Habsburgs after a brief rule period of Burgundian. Then end of Eighty Years’
War has made the country a part of Siuthern Netherlands, which was then passed to the Austrian
line of the Habsburg dynasty in 1713.The 1815 Treaty of Paris has been made to transform
Luxembourg into a Grand Duchy in personal union with the Netherlands after the occupation by
Revolutionary France. Luxembourg also has to face the consequence of going through division
twice. The first division in 1658 and the second in 1839. The treaties and the division has
reduced the territorial are of Luxembourg, but the country has gained the ability to establish
established its formal independence, which was confirmed after the Luxembourg Crisis of 1867.
In 1890, the sperate ruling house is created which led Luxembourg to fell further into Germany's
sphere of influence. Then, from 1914 to 1918, Luxembourg was occupied by Germany. Germany
also was able to capture the country from 1940 to 1944 for the second time. The end of WORLD
WAR TWO has opened a new door for the Luxembourg and since then the country has only
prospered. Luxembourg has become one of the world's richest countries, buoyed by a booming
financial services sector, political stability, and European integration.
Geography:
Luxembourg, a small country, located in North-Western part of Europe is a country rolling hills
and low mountains covered with thick green forest. Oesling, the northern part of the country is a
highland, where the soil composition is not good enough for any agricultural work. The low
mountains lie along the northern border and the southern border is too fertile and also contain
rivers. The topography of the country is divided between the Oesling of the northern third of the
Grand Duchy and the flat Gutland, which occupies the southern two-thirds. Alzette in the
south,Wiltz in the north, Eisch, Moselle, Our and Sure are the major rivers of the country.The
longest river is the Sauer, a tributary of the Moselle, the basin of which includes almost all of the
country’s area.Luxembourg City is the capital of the country situated in gutland.Most of the
