Data Collection and Analysis
For the research proposal the type of research method that will be used is primary data
collection where the research will consist of a survey. A questionnaire will be distributed
among the participants (Kostewicz et al 2016). For data analysis statistical analysis will be
conducted where SPSS tool will be used to measure the accuracy of the collected data. SPSS
is also known as statistical package for the social sciences where researchers can use the tool
to analyse the data (Miller 2017). Descriptive research design will also be used for this
research. This type of research describes the characteristics of the population or the study that
is studied. It focuses on what the research is about instead of why the research is being
conducted.
Rationale
The above data collection technique will support the purpose of the research as it will
help in identifying the practices of eCommerce companies. By conducting a primary data the
accuracy of the practices of ecommerce companies as well as their adapting nature can be
measured accurately. There are no other analysis tool that is considered as SPSS will include
all the tables, charts and graphs required for the research to be credible therefore extra
analysis tools will not be required.
Research Approach
The chosen approach for data analysis that will be used for the research is deductive
approach. Deductive approach will help in the research question as it will assist it making a
good research hypothesis that is based on the existing theory. It will help to measure the
analysis in a quantitative manner (Zalaghi and Khazaei 2016). Deductive approach is able to
explore the theory that is given in the research and follows the path of logic. By applying the
