1. The purpose and objectives of the organisation
The purpose of the existence of Etisalat is to serve the people of the global world with its
wide range of products and services like mobile and fixed line telephony, digital television and
internet services. It currently operates largely in the Middle East countries, the Asian countries
and in Central African Republic (Etisalat.ae, 2019).
The purpose as mentioned above is being served in many ways. Hence, the operations
objectives include but not limited to (Etisalat.ae, 2019):
To reshape the lives of consumers
To accelerate the economic growth of range of businesses
To enhance the competitiveness of the countries which the group is a part of

Emirates Telecommunication Group Company PJSC branded as Etisalat is a
multinational Emirati based provider of telecommunications services. The company currently
has its operations in 15 countries that also include the Middle East, Asia and Africa. According
to the Forbes’s global list of 2017 top telecom companies, Etisalat stands at the 15th position
(Forbes, 2019). Reportedly Etisalat is about to take a giant lip with the adoption of 5G
technology (Gulfnews.com, 2019). The new technology will be one of the key highlights for
Etisalat in addressing to and showcasing the future of mobility and urbanism (Gulfnews.com,
2019).

The purpose of the existence of Etisalat is to serve the people of the global world with its
wide range of products and services like mobile and fixed line telephony, digital television and
internet services. It currently operates largely in the Middle East countries, the Asian countries
and in Central African Republic (Etisalat.ae, 2019).
The purpose as mentioned above is being served in many ways. Hence, the operations
objectives include but not limited to (Etisalat.ae, 2019):

The above figure shows the organisational culture being followed at Etisalat. It looks
evident from the above picture that Etisalat follows a functional structure. Managers in different
tiers sit according to the tasks and responsibilities assigned to them. It means the low-level
management in human resource department will report to the CEO office.
5. An integration between different departments
All departments in the organisational structure of Etisalat is linked with the company’s
board of directors. The CEO will take care of different functions and managers in each functional
department will report to him. For example, different functional domains like finance,
commercial, corporate strategy & bus. devs and human resources will report to the CEO office.

Respectful: Employees’ opinions and voices are given the importance.
Outstanding: Employees have a winning attitude. They are fuelled with courage to go the

Delivering: Employees proactively adapt to creative ways to set ambitious goals with
quality.
Organisational values are of core importance to Etisalat. Innovation is one of these values.
