The stressfulenvironment in which the animals are being brought up in the different farms affect their overallabilities of performance and sustenance. The study is based on the analysis of the study of thearoma therapy on 7 horses. The use of the aroma therapy is said to have a strong influence on theoverall development of the horses. The heart rate and the respiratory rate of the horses are said tobe affected by the stressors in the different environments. The use of the aroma therapy on thehorses has a positive effect in easing the Heart Rate and the respiratory rate thus making it easierfor them to survive.As pointed out by Sullivan, Hill and Haussler (2008), the back problems are one of themost common and persistent issues among the athletic and competitive horses. The backproblems of the horses are the result of the stressful environments that the competitive horseshave to cope in. one of the most important aspects relating to the overall performance of thecompetitive horses. The competitive horses’ stress levels and the different stress levels faced bythe horses are to be mitigated using the chiropractic and massage therapies. The research takesinto account the feedback from the treatment of 40 horses. The horses show a considerable levelof development as the chiropractic and the massage therapies showed antinociceptive changes inthe caudal vertebral column of the horses. The therapies help in the overall improvement in thestrain felt by the horses relieving them of the additional stress.As pointed out by Scott and Swenson (2009), the massage therapy which was initiallyused for the human athletes had to be used for the different equines to improve their performancein the different sectors of the athletic and pleasure activities.
