CREATIVE THINKING
1. How am I a creative thinker?
Creative thinking refers to the process of nurturing our imagination that allows us to think
about a certain subject, going out of the box. It involves applying new and unique thoughts
and positive ideas on a particular situation to generate positive result, in a way that is
different from the rest others. Every human is different in his or her way of thinking and
perspective and therefore, I think we all are unique and creative in our respective professions.
However, I think I am also a creative thinker. This is because I have seen none to have the
skill that I possess. I can sit down and write the things that comes to mind within a fraction of
seconds and this happens all the time. With the same, I am extremely curious. I always keeps
on asking questions like “Why? Why not?” and I am also eager to learn things that I have no
idea about. I am also very goal oriented and I am always focused on my goal not matter what.
I always ensure to write down it very clearly so as to keep a track on my progress and
visualise them daily until I achieve it. Moreover, I have the potential to generate more and
more ideas. I write those ideas and make a plan for implementing them by means of creative
thinking and then, I take the necessary actions. Above all, I would like to mention that I
believe in myself a lot and I never afraid of admitting my mistakes.
2. An example of creative thinking in the world around me.
One of the best example of creative thinking that I have came across in the world around me
is that of the case of Von Sternberg, a famous Austrian-American film director. In the year
1925, he directed his very first film called “The Salvation Hunters”. Later in 1930, Sternberg
received an invitation to direct a film that would be featuring “Emil Jannings”. Sternberg was
well aware of the kind of person that Jannings was, as he already worked with him earlier. He
knew that Jannings is a very disruptive man and he would do anything to disturb Sternberg
and the flow of the entire production. Sternberg did not want to let history repeat itself as he
