Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to analyse and understand different
forms of entrepreneurships including independent, intrapreneurship and
social entrepreneurship. Each of these entrepreneurships differentiates in
terms of key dimensions such as environment, process, person and
outcome. Interpersonal entrepreneurship focuses on finding innovative
ways to develop products or services whereas intrapreneurship relies on
employees ability to innovate in the workplace. Social entrepreneurship
focuses on resolving social challenges through their operations.
Conclusively, all these entrepreneurships are similar in terms of their
abilities to generate ideas; however, they differentiate in terms of their
process, person and outcomes.

Compare and Contrast of forms of entrepreneurships
Entrepreneurship is defined as the process of running, designing
and launching a new business venture which often starts as a small
business. People who are responsible for incorporating these businesses
are referred as entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs focus on identifying
opportunities and convert them into marketable products or services
through creative and innovative ways that leads to creation of wealth and
value of the businesses in the society (Nambisan, 2017). There are three
common forms of entrepreneurship which includes independent
entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and social entrepreneurship. The
purpose of this essay is to analyse and outline these three forms of
entrepreneurship to understand the key differences and similarities
between them to gain a deeper understanding regarding the complex
work. These forms of entrepreneurship will be evaluated along with key
dimensions of environment, person, process and outcome by analysing
different real world examples in the essay.
One of the most popular forms of entrepreneurship is independent
entrepreneurship which is also referred as private entrepreneurship; this
entrepreneurship involves activities by private individuals or independent
firms where the role of entrepreneurs is most prevalent. These
entrepreneurships contribute significantly to the nation’s economy by
generating more jobs and launching new value added initiatives
(Prashantham, Eranova, & Couper, 2018). Few examples of independent
entrepreneurship includes Apple, Amazon and Uber which are popular
companies that started small and grow bigger due to their innovative
approach towards their business (Lee, 2016). Intrapreneurship is another
form of entrepreneurship through which organisations implement
innovate corporate management strategy with an objective to encourage
and inspire their employees to create new product or service ideas. This
form of entrepreneurship is often associated with corporations which are
