2 PERSONAL LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY AUTHENTICATE LEADERSHIP Description of the theory This is one of the most fundamental leadership styles that have been able to gain much popularity across various populations and organizations that are working hard towards providing a competitive advantage in this modern world. Moreover, it is a type of management style that involves quite a number of individuals who are capable of acting in real, genuine and sincere manner that is very much true to the kind of personalities that they really are (Seidle, Fernandez, & Perry, 2016). Quite a number of proponents attached to authentic leadership have been able to postulate that this type of leadership is among the best positioned with an intention of inspiring trust, loyalty together with a strong performance from different types of employees across different types of organizations. However, issues pertaining authentic leadership were able to come to the fore front of management studies in the past few years that was strongly accompanied by the publications of quite a number of quite a number of research papers, articles and even books (Sendjaya et al., 2016). This leadership style strongly believes in various issues that are attached to authenticity that can be easily implemented by a given type of leader who is capable of understanding what is taking place in relation to the entire situation. There are quite a number of reasons as to why I am capable of strongly relating to this form of leadership style. One of the major reasons as to why I relate to this leadership model is simply because I have been able to totally reject the idea that I have to adopt a certain persona that is totally different from my own. At the same time, I also relate to it simply because I don’t believe that my professional self is different than my personal or even private self (Tang, Kwan, Zhang & Zhu, 2016). For quite a long time now, my major goals have always been focused towards delivering
3 PERSONAL LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY high levels of results most so the long term ones and this is what makes me to perfectly relate to the entire leadership model. At the same time, as far as my personality is concerned I have got high levels of integrity that are appropriately guided by quite a number of morals thus displaying one of the strongest and reasonable ethical characters (Thakur, Angriawan & Summey, 2016). Through this situation, I have been able to show various forms authenticate leadership across various operations that I have been able to carry out under various conditions. A leadership philosophy statement based on my beliefs about leadership and the principles or values that guide me My beliefs about leadership is fully concentrated around quite a number of issues most of which are known to be originating from the leader. Firstly, I believe that leadership is all about possessing high quality levels of intelligence thus trying as much as possible to be empathetic to the needs of other individuals (Nahavandi, 2015). Moreover, my believe about leadership is also that it should be able to major rely on the adherence of quite a number of rules and regulations that are capable of providing appropriate and reliable guidance pertaining some of the procedures that should always be followed in order to attain quite a number of objectives within a particular time limit (Nahavandi, 2015). On the other hand, leadership is all about coordinating with each and every personality within a given organizational boundary in order to perfectly understand one another thus making it much easier to perfectly move together towards one specific direction and be able to attain quite a number of objectives within a certain period. At the same time, I also got quite a number of beliefs in relation to various principles that guide me when it comes to undertaking various operations within the boundaries of leadership. I therefore place a great focus in the principle that clearly states that clearly states that each and every employee is equal thus trying as much as possible to totally eradicate any condition that is likely to be associated

At the same time, I fully believe in the principle of motivation and inspiration to various types of employees thus making it much easier to increase their levels of performance and productivity that is likely to be experienced within their respective work places. I place a great value in honesty most so in all the operations being carried out in order to attain a specific goal. At the same time, trust has also been my major value and as a result of this, I tend to believe that it is among the major things that are capable of keeping things into place. Additionally, I also place my value in credibility that is capable of providing different personalities with one of the best opportunities to perform appropriately. Moreover, placing my value on communication has been a first priority since it has been able to bring a reasonable understanding when it comes to handling of various issues. Additionally, I believe in the value of being a team player since this is the only parameter that is capable of making various personalities to put much focus towards one specific direction. At the same time, I also place my value in collaboration that is focused towards generating quite a number of new ideas. Finally, my value is placed towards the direction of respect, knowledge and quality that are capable of providing a proper guidance in terms of how various activities should be carried out in relation to leadership. As a result of the above information, I am capable of applying this philosophy within my work environment by putting much focus on the beliefs together with the values since they are capable of guiding me towards the right direction. In relation to the above values, I tend to be against different issues like unsafe working conditions, the violation of safety within a work environment together with different aspects to negative behaviors.
