1.2 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STRUCTURE AND CULTURE Combination of organizational structure and culture used by British Gas causes a significant impact upon its own performance. For example, with the help of person culture, motivation of workers can be enhanced which is usually affected when they are not being considered as the important part of firm. Likewise, by using hierarchical organizational structure, cited firm can make the proper allocation of roles and responsibilities which are being fulfilled by the individuals. Through this way, British Gas can enhance satisfaction level of its employees. Due to this, sales and profits of firm will be impacted in a positive way. Overall, it can be said that for the firm it is very essential that it must make the selection of organizational structure and culture in an effective manner.
1.3 FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOR Following are the factors which influence the individual behaviour at British Gas: Work culture:Employees who work in British Gas are impacted through the work culture. Employees of the cited firm have to handle the queries of many customers which cause stress. Thus, they require such type of culture which will help in reducing the stress among the worker.
