INTRODUCTION
5G technology is the new generation technology addition in the broadband cellular
networks which is the successor of the 4G network. The new technology has higher bandwidth
which helps in connecting with the large number of devices and provide customers with high
streaming and downloading speed (Dangi, and et.al., 2021).
The report will discuss the emergence if the 5G technology I he World. It also
emphasized on the importance of the 5G technology and how it was developed. Further, the
report will specify about the 5Gtechnology and its uses., it will also present the technological
platforms and software used by the 5G technology. The report will discuss the type of businesses
and organization which uses the 5G technology and how it is an effective tool for the businesses.
Lastly, it will discuss what is the relationship between the 5G technology , digital
technology and the old and updated theories which are used in structuring and practising of the
business and management.
MAIN BODY.
a. The 5G technology is the emergence of innovative technology in the wireless
technology with increase in the speed and data connectivity of the cellular networks. It had
contributed $12.4 trillion of the economic output globally and supported millions of jobs
worldwide. The %G technology is important because it improved the accessibility of the vehicles
by updating them and providing the customers with the automated and new level of personal
satisfaction. With the help of 5G, the reach of the broadband had extended. It improved the speed
and the bandwidth and helped in innovating new 3D holograms, augmented reality and virtual. It
helped in easily and quick connecting of the people worldwide (Hoeschele, and et.al., 2021).
In the current era of COVID – 19, the 5G technology has contributed by providing the
students and teachers with the accessibility of networks and making it easier for the students to
learn and study hassle free and avoid any network issues.
b. The 5G technology was developed in the South Korea by using the Samsung, Nokia
and Ericsson as the base stations. The development of the technology is introduced in the 2015
white paper which was published by The Next Generation Mobile Networks. With the
continuous evaluation of the technology ,it kicked out in the year 2015 to bring the leadership in
the commercialization of 5G network. Till the year 2020, more than 1 billion people have
adopted the 5G network.

c. The 5G technology is the fifth generation of technology in the world of cellular
networks. It provides lower latency, high speed and more capacity as compared to the 4G LTE
cellular network. This is the robust and the fastest technology in the world till now. The 5G
network provides the customers with the high speed in the transmission of data and information
at the speed of multi gigabit (Adebusola, and et.al., 2020,). The 5G tech is based on the
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing. 5G uses bandwidth technologies which includes
mm Wave and sub – 6GHz. The technology resulted into expansion of the use of resources of
Spectrum with the limit of sub 3GHz to 100GHz.
The 5G technology is used in transforming digitally the nations worldwide. It is used to
provide broadband services in the rural and urban areas, with the help of low latency
communication enable the communication easily. It is used to stream the high quality videos and
movies and develop a communication in the IoT environment(Ullah, and et.al., 2019). This helps
in tracking the locations accurately and providing with the real time analysis of the data and
information.
d. There are various technologies and software used by the 5G technology to make it
easier and quicker for the people to surf the internet. The technologies include mm Wave that is
the Millimetre Wave Technology, this help in reducing the network latency and providing higher
throughput of the network. The mm Wave helped in reducing the overhead cost. It provides the
customers with grater frequency bandwidth which increases the capacity of network throughput.
Full duplex technology helps in reducing the usage of radio frequency directly to the half and
doubling the connections on the cell towers (Pawlak, Krawiec, and Żurek, 2019). MIMO that is
Multiple Input Multiple output is another technology used by the 5G technology which use
various antennas attached with the 2D phased array. The system is attached to the station at the
base and helps in controlling and reception of the transmission of radio signal.
The software used in the 5G technology is OFDM that is Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing which is used for encoding.
e. The 5G technology is beneficial to all the types of businesses and organizations. The
industries and businesses at the global level require the technology to interact with the business
partners, employees and customers and it also helps in transferring the data and applications at
higher speeds for the conduct of operations and activities (Alhuseini, and Olama, 2019). It helps
in providing reliability and support of the businesses by offering cloud storage systems. It results

in improvement of the operational risk and productivity of the businesses such as transport,
mining and utilities services. The 5G technology is also beneficial for the institutions and the
organization for conducting lectures or online classes. It provides both the teachers and students
a hassle free and uninterrupted learning environment. The education system also adopted the
variety of platforms which are connected with the 5G technology thus improving the pattern of
learning.
f. The business uses the 5G technology in strengthening their data analysis and advancing
the facilities of artificial intelligence and automation. The companies with the updated
technology and machinery requires the 5G technology to increase the efficiency and the
productivity of the equipment. The businesses can use the technology for managing their assets
and it helps in speeding up the process of managing with the accurate data analytics (Taboada,
and Shee, 2021.). In the warehousing businesses, it helps in tracking the use of inventory and
triggering the action to maintain smoothness in the supply chain management.
The higher bandwidth of the 5G network helps the business in uploading and sharing of
the huge files and presentations quickly. It also helps in connecting with the remote employees
and workers through HD communication means easily.

are adapting with the new and emerging technologies to survive in the competitive world. The
history regarding the technological advances has accounted major strategic decisions. Though
the organizations are developing with the digital and 5G technology, it is becoming difficult for
them to keep pace and work in the digitalized era.

management structures of the organization. The organization which are digitally aware and focus
on transforming the outdated technology with he updated technology may start the business with
the central models. The businesses develop the technology such as Marketing automation , this
technology will help the organization to automate, streamline and ascertain the activities related
to marketing (Gbadegeshin, 2019. ). The 5G technology will ease the storing and managing the
space for the marketing data and information and help in automating the process of marketing.
This will improvise the customers retention and cross selling of the organization. Thus, the

technology updates the outdated, marketing techniques making it productive and efficient for the
selling of goods and services.
The digitalization in the organization helps in improving the management of the projects
and help the businesses in developing the structure of the resulting in reduction of the wastage of
time in managing of the resources, reduce the efforts and costs. Updating with the 5G technology
helps in structuring the management in such a way that it creates a centralized space which will
help in organizing and understanding the working of project (Bouwman, Nikou, and de Reuver,
2019.). The management theories focus on efficiency and production of the management and
ensure that the project deadlines are timely achieved thus the digitalization will help on easing
out the tasks and projects.
The digital technologies reshape the industries and the companies and ensure change in
the organization at the large scale. From the researches, it was found that the change in the
technology have resulted in elusive success to the business theories and management structures.
The digital transformation has achieved the success in the high tech, telecom and media industry
with 26% whereas in other industries for example, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals it is challenging
to updates with the digitalization.
Updating with the technology emphasize on the updating tools of the digitalization thus
making the information regarding the organization accessible throughout the world. This will
increase the success rate of the organization and help in setting the business theories digitally.
This will help the businesses in implementing self serve technologies to the employees and the
business partners. For increasing the revenue generation and the productivity of the organization,
it had to focus on the customer relationship management as it is approach towards the
management of organization's customers and retain them. With the help of digitalization, it is
easier for the management to manage and keep the data secure of the customers. The new and
updated CRM software developed with the new and emerging technologies helps in attracting
and retaining the customers and coordinate the activities of communication thus ensure no
communication and strive for the growth of business (Moşteanu, 2020). The businesses and
organization use the local and traditional servers or computers to store and organize the data of
the users or company's confidential information. With the update in the technology, there are
various changes in the storage system. The digitalized World have provided the facility of cloud
storage system to access and store the data, information and files in safe and secure manner

online. The cloud storage system enables to have greater flexibility and reduction in the cost and
provides with the regular back up of the data and information (Fauzi, and Sheng, 2020.). The
development of technology and digitalization helped the organization in reducing the operating
and supporting cost of IT, thus resulting in increased productivity of the employees.
Thus, it is clear that the digitalization and updated technology share a relationship with
the business theories and practices in developing the organization's functions and management
with the help of 5G technology. The use of 5G technology resulted in many advantages to the
organization. It also focused on improving the success rate and providing the customers with the
highly developed and functional services of the organization. This will attract and retain the
customers and will also increase the efficient and productivity. The digitalization is the need of
the businesses in today's world because as the Covid- 19 pandemic had caused huge destruction
in the lives of the human beings and business, the technology and the digitalization was the only
way to survive and connect with the people. The digitalization made it easier for the organization
to conduct its operational activities and assist the employees and workers working remotely
(Amankwah-Amoah, and et.al., 2021. ). It helped in assessing an analysing the working of the
organization and ascertaining that the customers are not deprived of the products and services,
thus with the help of updated technology and digitalization, it is easier to provide the customers
with the help of online services.
CONCLUSION
From the report on the 5G technology, it s concluded that updating the technology and
the network had eased the transformation of businesses and the individual lives. Digitalization
updates the structures and theories of the management. The report concludes about 5G
technology and its importance. It presented how the technology was developed and what are the
uses of the 5G technology. Further, it emphasized on the platforms and software that are used by
the 5G technology. It also presented the organization and business using the updated technology
and in what ways it is effective for them. Lastly, it presented a discussion on how digitalization
is related to the business practices and theories and how it helps in developing their structures.
