Introduction
This report is a reflection of the capstone business management course undertaken by the
researcher. In the initial part of the report, the researcher provides a detailed summary of the
reflective capability that has been gained by him as an outcome of attending this business
administration course. This section also incorporates a reflection on the learning experiences
throughout the course and a personal commentary regarding the effectiveness of the learning
outcomes that have been achieved by the researcher. The reflection in this section incorporates
the skill developments lie knowing, being and doing and their benefits in the career development
of the researcher. In the next part of the same section the researcher reflects the competence
that he have been able to gain as an outcome of the four essential capstone skill development.
the next section encompasses a reflection on the learning from the capstone subject as well as a
detailed personal analysis of the consultancy research program undertaken by him. The personal
skills developed by then researcher as an outcome of undergoing the overall MBA program have
also been articulated. The researcher have also discussed in the report regarding how the skills
that he highlighted, will be beneficial for the future career endeavours.
Summary of reflective capabilities in learning
Integration of theory as well as practice helps in the learning outcome of the elements of
Administration, in the MBA capstone course. The business capstone is a course which
synthesizes knowledge and exhibits business relevance, strongly emphasising on strategy. After
the end of the subject, analysing the project learning, it can be accessed that the students to
demonstrate a sound strategic mind set. I also feel that the capstone course helps in integration of
functional knowledge required for working in an organisation and problem solving in the
working atmosphere. The practical learning sessions of business capstone helps the students to

acquire skills for understanding the big picture, consider various perspectives before decision
making and lastly developed in leading capacities as well as developing the abilities of becoming
business manager. The capstone project undoubtedly helps to develop some of the biggest
competencies required in the modern workplaces in terms of business management. Weissbach
et al. (2017), describe current day in the future the most significant components that is required
in the workplace is the ability for solving new as well as poor structural flaws in complex
business environment. In this context, the KDB model of learning can be emphasized. Analysis
of the learning outcomes of the MBA capstone module using this model helps in understanding
the significance of this course for the students. This theory shows that knowing, doing and being
are activities which focus on three different perspectives. In the first place knowing
acknowledges the theories as well as methods needed for successful managerial execution.
Doing refers to real life application of theoretical expertise in the problematic situations where
exemplary leadership is required and lastly being emphasizes on the personal values as well as
goals including self-reflection.
The learning accomplished as a part of this capstone model also incorporates the four capstone
skills. These are theoretical skills, practical skills, reflective skills as well as applied skills. In this
context it can be reflected that the theoretical skills developed during the capstone course help
students like us to reflect on our capability of understanding the interdependencies as well as
complexities related to real life business situations so that we are convicted about capability of
undertaking better business decisions. The theoretical skills developed during the course helps in
understanding the relevance of the important business management theories.
The applied skills help students like us to understand the way in which business curriculum helps
