INTRODUCTION
Health and safety management is an organised efforts and procedure in order to
identifying workplace risk and overcome an accident and exposures to harmful situation and
substances. The major objective of heath and safety management is to provide the awareness and
knowledge about the accident preventions, accident response, emerging preparedness and use of
protective clothing and equipment. In addition to this, it can be said that there are number of
legal values which need to be referred by management in order to meet objectives. With an
assistance of this, working at the workplace can be advanced effective manner. Present study
provides an information in regard to policies and regulations that assist in meeting objectives.
1. MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH & SAFETY AT WORK
In addition to this, it can be said that working within organisation might be affected if
business firm is not focused towards key policies. It has been noticed that health and safety at
work act 1974 need to be consider so that goals and objectives can be accomplished. Health and
Safety Act 1974 is also being referred as HSWA which is considered as a primary section under
legislation values. According to this, duty the employer need to ensure that safety measures are
well maintained. Any kind of avoidance might affect overall outcome so management need to
refer it effectively. It holds a duty on employer to promote safe work conditions. It means the
employees must feel protected in context to health and safety so that work activities might not
get influenced in diverse manner. It also places duties on employees to cooperate with their
employer, so far as is necessary, to enable their employer to comply with his health and safety
duties as set down under HSWA and under relevant legislation.
It has been noticed that working of organisation must be according to key aspects so that
goals and objectives can be accomplished effectively. Under HSWA the company need to focus
on areas like health and safety management systems, health and safety policies, control risk of
exposure to hazardous sustenance, information, introduction and training. It means by having
effective reflection of HSWA values the business firm can have better opportunities in the
market. Moreover, application of legislation for risk control the issues can be overcome in
desired manner. By having an improved focus on the risk identification through application of
assessment policies the issues can be overcome. There are is specific act regarding control on

management framework to protect the health and safety aspect is need to be consider. It allows to
ensure in regard to health and safety measures for staff members. By having an improved focus
on such aspect the employer can easily improve the safety measures within organisation. It will
assist in advancing the level of cooperation and coordination so that objectives can be
accomplished effectively.
Along with this, risk assessment is also necessary to consider by the employer so that
issues can be overcome in order to lead business towards success. By having a five step to risk
assessment the employer can ensure about health and safety measures. One of critical risk that
business firm may face is uncertain information among members in regard to lack of
information. By having an improved focus on the activities the issues can discussed effectively.
In addition to this, it can be stated that by having an improved focus on factors the business firm
can have impressive level of success. Issue in regard to electricity can be faced by the company.
It might be possible that sort circuit issue is being faced by company in regard to electricity. It
might cause the fire which will impact the health and safety aspects in negative manner. Working
standards can also be affected due to high level of avoidance. It means management need to
consider it in appropriate manner for sustainable development. In addition to this, people such as
workers and labors who are working in the at the high height will be required for roofing
activities. Those people have hazard related to the break off roof and uncertain accident at the
height. These people are required to well settled risk management practices. Along with this, it
can be said that issue in regard to working at excavation activities is significant to consider. It
also influences the key measures so that goals and objectives can be accomplished effectively.
There are number of activities and policies which need to be considered by the manager
in order to overcome issue and lead business firm to impressive level of success. Risk register
application is one of most critical aspect which might affect the business. If business firm is
having actual information about risk then diverse strategies can be framed in order to deal with

the issues. It is significant for business entity to make sure that proper arrangement need to be
made by company in order to meet objectives. Along with this, mitigation strategies application
is also significant to consider from the management. Proper information about environmental

2. IMPLEMENTING APPROPRIATE SYSTEMS TO MEET
ORGANISATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS.
It has been noticed that there are number of measures which need to be employed by
business entity in order to overcome issue. Total quality management and six sigma are two key
methods which assist in improving the quality standards. With an assistance of six sigma the
potential issues in regard to safety can be overcome. Proper standards need to be set out by
business entity in order to overcome issue. Proper monitoring from the managers is also
significant because it allows to meet key goals and objectives. Effective planning of activities is
also significant so that goals and objectives can be accomplished in desired manner. COSHH
requires that employees properly use the control measures provided by their employers,
including personal protective equipment (PPE), and that they report any problems with them.
In addition to this, it has been noticed that by having an application of measures the issues can be
overcome in order to lead business towards impressive level of success.
CONCLUSION
As per the above study, it can be concluded that Under HSWA the company need to
focus on areas like health and safety management systems, health and safety policies, control risk
of exposure to hazardous sustenance, information, introduction and training. It means by having
effective reflection of HSWA values the business firm can have better opportunities in the
market. In addition to this, it can be said that employer key responsibility is to make sure that

On the basis of above study, it can be recommended that management need to ensure that
equipments are properly installed within organisation. It will assist in overcome issue and lead
business firm to impressive level of success. By having a regular basis monitoring of activities
and standards is also beneficial because it assists in long term sustainability and lead business
firm to impressive level of success. Risk elements potential also need to be referred effectively
so that it can be ensure that strategies are being employed effectively. Along with this,
application of diverse measures in context to quality management is necessary so that goals and
objectives can be accomplished effectively. Control of substances hazardous to health regulation
