Introduction
In order to control and manage certain activities pertaining within the team, it is an
important part to develop the potential of becoming an effective and qualitative leader in the
organization. The respective study generally gives more emphasis under the part of identifying
and evaluating the internal leadership abilities along with the system of self-awareness enhanced
by me in order to analyze and understand the key leadership skills in me. This can help in the
part of identifying the key requirement area which requires advanced development in the part of
leadership function associated with me. Under this respective part, I have attended the lecture
class during week 6 which helped me in understanding the strength and weakness related to my
side under the area of becoming an effective leader for the future.
The other most interesting part is related to the conduct of psychometric test which
helped to evaluate the key development strategies which has to adopted by me being a leader in
order to gain better and adaptive output in the future. Clear understandings from week 8 and
week 12 sessions are also added to the study with a clear mode of self-reflection is performed for
the same.
Reflection on Recruitment and Selection
Selecting and recruitment process is completely concerned with the function of
choosing, attracting and identifying the most suitable individuals in the part of meeting the
requirements of human resource associated with the respective organization. According to
the functional aspects that are associated with the operational prospective of an organization
within their internal environment, under this respective part several process that are related to
recruitment and selection function in the organization generally play a crucial role under all

aspects. I believe that every organization basically give more emphasis in these particular part
for the purpose of gaining more talented employees in order to undertake their operational
activities in the current and future. Thus, being a student, according to me in order to remain
more sustainable and competitive in the upcoming times it is important to consider several major
factors related to selection and recruitment in order to demonstrate an effective and stable
performance from my part in the future.
I am currently pursuing my Master of Administration form University of Waterloo,
Canada where we become part of several lecture speech which are based on placement talks,
individual assessment activities and many other. After attending a guest lecture session related
to key expectation of employers in the current times from the side of candidates, I came to
understand attending an interview and getting selected with an organization is not regarded
as the most important part required to be developed by the individual to sustain in the future.
Apart from these there are many other key segments which the employers generally expect from
the candidates during the time of conducting an interview session for the selection purpose with
an organization.
As per the lecture speech conducted in our campus, it was fully related to the recruitment
and selection process which exist within the internal environment of the organization in the
current times. I realized that to get selected with a well-advanced organization, during the time of
attending an interview first of all it is important for me have clear knowledge and idea about
the respective company where I am planning to work with. On the other hand, interviewers in
the current times basically look for candidates with effective soft skills and talent. It is
important for me to work on building these respective qualities within my part to enhance myself
more effective and competitive for the upcoming times.

Reflection on Strategic Leadership Style
As compared to several aspects that are related to the function of strategic leadership
style, it is completely related to the function of involving others within the organization in the
part of making decisions on a voluntary basis. believe that the best leadership style which will
best fit for me while performing in an organization is based on strategic leadership style. As
I have strong and adaptive mode of emotional stability it will be better platform for me to
encourage the team members through offering better rewards and incentive programs which will
be a strong part from my side in building and developing strong mode of competitive advantage
through achieving the goals and objectives while performing with a team on all aspects.
Some of the major organizational factors which will assist and guide me in the area of
becoming an effective leader is based on the function of developing and maintaining strong
mode positive skills, understand the actual need and responsibilities which is required to be
implemented while performing in a team along with developing strong mode of decision and
adaptive problem solving skills to resolve any mode of issues caused within the team and the
team members. I believe, I have that internal capability within myself to undertake the respective
process in an expected and successful manner.
The most interesting part regarding the identification of my potential of being selecting
the respective leadership style is completely associated with the psychometric test which was
conducted by my campus. I came to understand that I have a strong mode of strategic
leadership quality in me where certain factors that are associated with the emotional stability
and dominance power enhanced from my part is more effective to adapt strong and adaptive
