1 Topic/Question
At the construction site, the major problem which was seen is related to the safety and the work
health of the employees. So the research problem is that what were the issues which faced
relating to safety and health measures at the construction sites?
2 Background
At the construction sites, the working environment is quietly risky and the employees work over
there with the high machines and on the great heights so their safety and health measures have to
be taken care of (Getuli, et al., 2017). The material is also highly used for making the building so
on the construction sites the risk and hazards are more related to the noise, material handlings,
collapsing trenches, etc.
3 Project Objective
The major objectives are to provide some safety measures to the employees who are working at
the construction sites so that their family does not have to suffer from any risk and harm (Dodo,
2014). The construction industry has hazardous situations and has to go through with such
dangerous equipment’s so the objective is to take the precautions at the project construction sites.
4 Why this Project?
The problem of providing the safety measures at the construction sites should be solved so that
the employees work with full enthusiasm and if they harm then there were some medical
treatment and the other welfare services to the employees should also be provided (Jafari, et al.,
2014). If at the construction project the safety commitments will be given then the public would
take interest in doing the risky work.
5 Initial Findings
It was investigated that for maintaining the work safety and health of the employees it is
important to provide them the medical assurance which was seen in many construction sites
(Mattia, et al., 2013). If any employees get harmed while working then it is the duty of the

manager of the construction project to provide them all the welfare services as they have injured
at the working environment.
6 Predicted Findings:
Many other measures can also be implemented such as providing the employees with their full
payroll at the time when they are injured. The manager must give them employee full salary
when they got injured at the construction site as the employee safety get hampered at the
working environment (Edirisinghe, et al., 2014).
7 Implications to Industry
There will be certain benefits to the construction industry when the safety measures will be there
as the employees take more interest in doing hazardous things when they get payroll and medical
benefits. The disadvantage is that when an employee gets injured the cost of the construction
industry enhances and profitability gets reduced (Lingard, et al., 2015).
8 Conclusion
It is essential to provide the work health measures and safety precautions to the employees on the
construction sites so that the problem related to the safety measures of the employees at the
working environment can be maintained.
