Introduction
Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence in
machines that are programmed to think as individuals and mimic their
actions effectively. It is an effective technology that provides a way to
manage and interconnect human thinks with computing networks and
perform operations. In this generation, many business communities are
moving towards AI-based networks due to their potential to lead business
performance and manage complex tasks easily (André, et al., 2018). The
chosen industry for this research is e-commerce and the selected field of
carrier is marketing where the use of artificial intelligence is growing
quickly. It is found that the e-commerce industry includes AI-based robots
that help to manage the workability and lead the organizational
performance. The objective of the investigation is to evaluate the concept of
artificial intelligence and review the importance of AI in the e-commerce
industry and marketing. This report will include numerous sections such as
an overview of AI, advantages, and challenges of integrating AI technology,
the application of AI in the e-commerce and marketing field, and the future
of AI.
Overview of AI
AI is defined as artificial intelligence technology that has the
capability to manage complex tasks effectively and resolve the problems
faced by the e-commerce industry. The key part of this technology is that it
reduces human errors by integrating computing devices with human things
effectively. Dirican, (2015) reported that the major characteristic of AI
technology is that it has the ability to rationalize and take actions that have
the best chance of achieving developed goals and objectives in the
companies. In the last four years, the use of AI-based networks has
increased by 56% due to their potential to lead to organizational

performance. The working operations of AI technologies are appropriate
that include advanced machine learning programs for converting computing
networks into automated systems.
The computing network has to learn how to respond to specific
actions for which it uses advanced programming languages and historical
data for creating effective models. Utilization of machine learning helps to
implement effective AI programs by which the companies can manage
workability and solve the human errors that occurred in the workplace
(Forrest, & Hoanca, 2015). The major part of the AI technology is that it
helps business communities to implement automated systems by which
higher management can enhance market values and productivity.
Types of tools used in AI
Huang, & Rust, (2018) reported that artificial intelligence is the
future of business where companies will implement automated networks for
performing business performance and enhance organizational productivity.
There are various kinds of tools used in AI technology such as amazon web
service, AI-ONE, deep learning or machine learning, Apache Mahout,
OPENNN and many more. In which AWS is an effective tool that is used in
artificial intelligence that helps the companies to perform web services
effectively. AI-ONE is another tool that allows companies to develop and
implement intelligent assistants within all computing servers and software.
AI-ONE provides a data analyst toolbox by which companies can easily
manage the obtained data and build an effective system that can help to
enhance organizational performance. Deep learning is a computing tool that
is mainly used by the companies to design and implement AI-based systems
that helps to implement enterprise applications for example apache Spark
(Kietzmann, Paschen, & Treen, 2018). There are various tools include in the
field of deep learning such as Boltzmann machine, deep belief net and many
more. OPEN is a kind of software library that helps companies to implement
