Introduction
The human resource management of an enterprise has a major role to play in determining
the overall success and the goal accomplishment of the enterprise. In consideration to this, it
becomes essentially crucial for the enterprise to understand that in case they want to attain
success in the long run, they would be required to engage in motivational session for the
different employees which would encourage them to perform well in the long run and at the
same time also influence them to remain associated with the firm and its overall objectives.
Hence, this report is concerned with the performance of the Vatra in Ternopil in consideration of
their overall performance in the long run and along with this, the study also covers an analysis of
the skills and capabilities required to function in the firm. The report follows a comprehensive
format whereby the Introduction to the enterprise is followed by the Resume of a candidate for a
low manager job in the enterprise. Along with this, a questionnaire will be provided in the report
to assess the satisfaction level of the employees in the firm. Lastly, the modern problems faced
by the enterprise along with an assessment of employee control in the organization will also be
presented.
About the enterprise
The Vatra in Ternopil is a powerful manufacturer of modern lighting equipment which is
one of the largest firms in Ukraine and also one of the largest producers of starter regulating
devises in the Europe. Currently, the firm possesses of various production capacities and
capabilities along with the intellectual potential which means to satisfy the interests of the
economy and meet with the demands of the different individuals.
The company has been performing well when being assessed as per the competitiveness
and has won tenders for important state orders as well. The firm produces products which are
highly competitive among the lighting devises for the industrial lighting, the lamps and the
floodlights with the metal halogen lamps (Rada.com 2019). In order to make the production
easier, the enterprise engages in the usage of high level equipment’s with the help of which, it
will be essentially able to test the facilities of the firm in an effective manner and in
consideration of this, will also be able to see to it that, the employees are being able to make use
of the latest technology and perform well in the long run.

Modern problem of the company
The Human resource dynamics has been changing to a great extent. Pertaining to this, it
becomes relatively crucial for the different enterprises to ensure that they are successfully being
able to manage the overall enterprise objectives and at the same time they are being able to
achieve all the goals which have been set down for the organization (Sparrow, Brewster and
Chung 2016). Hence, some of the modern problems which are being essentially faced by the
enterprise Vatra can be stated to be as follows:
1. Managing Workforce Diversity
The workforce today can be understood to be largely diverse in nature and
pertaining to this, it becomes essentially crucial for the enterprise to it that it is
being able to manage the overall operations well and managing this diverse range
of employees who are essentially present in the enterprise.
2. Meeting Aspirations of Employees
Another modern problem which is generally faced by an enterprise can be
understood to be the meeting of the aspirations of the various employees who are
present (Noe et al. 2015). In consideration of this, it is essential to understand that,
when the firm will be able to manage the aspirations of the employees, they get
motivated to perform better and in consideration of this, they are essentially able to
perform well in order to attain the overall goals of the firm. In consideration of this,
it becomes important for the firm to understand that the aspirations of the
employees need to be met with adequately.
3. Empowerment of Employees
As the human resource dynamics has been changing, it is essential for the
enterprise to see to it that it is being able to empower the employees of the firm in
the right way and in addition to this; it is also being able to help them in raising the
path of success. When the employees are empowered, they perform well and in
association with this, they become more independent. This leads to a better future
of the enterprise.

relations. The human relations help in maintaining a sound relationship with the different
team members and when the needs of the teams can be met with, the organizational goals
can be attained (Mondy and Martocchio 2016). As the employees have become rather
proactive in nature, the management of the human relations have become quite difficult
and a problem for Vatra.
5. Dynamic Personnel Policies and Programs
As the different employees have become quite dynamic in nature and belong to various
dynamic profiles, it becomes essential for them to see to it that the firm is being able to
come up with various dynamic personnel policies which would contribute towards
employee welfare and along with this, design various programs so as to be able to support
these employees in the right manner.
6. Building Responsive Organization
The old school organizational management would not work well in the current
condition and at present, the enterprise requires the building of responsive
organizations (DeCenzo, Robbins and Verhulst 2016). Hence, in such a scenario,
the Vatra as an enterprise would be required to come up with strategies so as to
build a responsible organization with the help of which, they will be able to ensure
success in the long run.
7. Creating Dynamic Work-Culture
Another modern problem being faced by Vatra can be stated to be the creation of a
dynamic work culture (Chelladurai and Kerwin 2018). The workplace culture
forms an effective contributor to employee motivation and in consideration to this,
it is essential for the Vatra as an enterprise to see to it that it is being able to
contribute towards building a dynamic work culture which would help it to attain
its goals and thereby assist the enterprise in achieving its goals successfully.
8. Outsourcing HRM Functions
One of the last modern problems which are essentially faced by the enterprise can
be referred as to the outsourcing of the HRM functions. In consideration of this, it
becomes essential for the firm to see to it that in order to save costs; it is being able

to outsource some of the HRM functions. However, deciding which HRM
functions are required to be outsourced and which ones remain associated with the
firm is a difficult task to be conducted by the firm.
Examples of how employees execute control over the enterprise
The employees form one of the most crucial parts of the enterprise and in consideration
to this, it becomes very crucial for the enterprise to understand the extent of control which the
employees executive over the employees. For instance, the employees exhibit major control over
policy and program developments (Cascio 2015). As the different policies and programs are
designed for their use, it becomes very crucial for the organization to see to it that they are being
able to include the employees in the decision making procedure and along with that allow them
to engage in an effective relationship with the enterprise.
Another area where the different employees generally tend to execute a strong control
can be mentioned to be related to workplace culture. The employees are largely responsible for
the workplace culture (Cascio 2015). In consideration of this, it becomes effectively crucial for
the enterprise to ensure that it is being able to control the different nature of the employees as
they are ultimately responsible for managing the overall workplace management and culture. If
the employees are not satisfied with the workplace then in such a scenario, they will influence
the workplace in a negative manner and this can lead to the overall destruction of the balance of
power and the attainment of enterprise goals.
Assessment of the organization as a bureaucratic of an adaptive
Bureaucracy can be referred as to a system of the enterprise or the government where the
most crucial decisions are essentially undertaken by the state officials rather than the employees
themselves (Brewster et al. 2016). With respect to this, it can be mentioned that the Vatra as an
enterprise is adaptive to bureaucracy to a certain extent. Although the dynamics of the Human
resource management has been changing to a great extent, it is essential for them to see to it that
they are being able to engage in effective operations with the agreement of the employees and
taking their decisions accordingly (Brewster 2017). However, in reality this is not the case and as
per the industry and related operations, the decision making and the organizational management
of the enterprise is rather Bureaucratic in nature.

nature and in consideration of this, the senior management can be mentioned to be the
department which is usually involved in the decision making procedure and hence, in

overall environment of an enterprise needs to be such that, it is being able to motivate the
employees to perform well and in addition to this, influence them to take sound decision making
as well (Bratton and Gold 2017). Hence, a recommendation to Vatra in this scenario may be to
shift from the bureaucratic structure of management and decision making.
Conclusion
Therefore, from the above analysis it can be essentially comprehended that the Human
resource management forms an effective part of the enterprise and any enterprise which aims to
attain success in the long run would be required to undertake crucial decision making procedures
to keep the employees satisfied. The report assessed the background of Vatra which was then
followed by a Resume which would assist in accomplishment of the job role of a Lower level
manager. A questionnaire to measure the overall satisfaction level or dissatisfaction level of the
employees has also been given which would help in understanding the condition of the
employees in the firm. The latter half of the report conducts an assessment of the modern
