companies. This should be done through a clear stipulation of content that should not be shared
in the terms and condition section. Additionally, it can also be done through monitoring of all
content and hiding or deleting posts that are deemed inappropriate for public consumption.
Finally, they should also enforce strategies to ensure visibility and accessibility of content for
different age brackets. The assumption behind this argument is that content that may be deemed
inappropriate for a particular age group may be appropriate for another. This is particularly
applicable on social media platforms.
Additionally, the government has a crucial role to play in the regulation of content shared
on social media. In this regards, it needs to enact various policies to regulate the content that is
