Title
The title of the study ‘’Lived Experiences of Nursing Severe Burn Injury Patients’’ is
catchy and holds the interest of the readers. It identified the targeted key component of the
phenomenon. It has implied that group being studied is ‘’nurses’’ who have witnessed the lived
experiences of the burning patients.
Abstract
The background, aim methods, finding and conclusions are defined, but the implication
of the study and prevalence of the problem is missing. The prevalence ratio depicts the
magnitude of the problem. Therefore it should be mentioned to highlight the need for the study
(Kellogg, Barker, & McCune, 2014).
Introduction
Statement of the Problem. The problem statement is located in the second paragraph.
The statement of the problem provides a clear description of the targeted phenomenon (Moi,
& Gjengedal, 2014), but it is clearly mentioned that what location has been targeted in the
current study. Furthermore, the experience of bun patients has not been studied and discussed,
which is considered the core limitation of the study. The match between the research problem
and the qualitative paradigm is good and clear.
Research question. The research question is clear to understand the direction of the
study. Unfortunately, the research question is missing in the current study.
Literature review. The literature was a detailed description of the past researches
relevant to the existing research. The primary resources were used to search the relevant studies.
It was clearly mentioned that how the past researches are interlinked with the current study.
