One of the major role in the project is played by the
project manager itself. The project manager is responsible
for the planning of the entire project. The success or the
failure of the project is completely depending upon the
project planning, which is again done by the project
manager himself/herself. The development of the system,
scheduling for the project, executing the controls of the
project are done by the project managers of the projects.
For an individual to hold the role of the project manager in
a business, he or she should have extensive knowledge
over the subject area of the project. They should be skilful
in all types of programming language. Apart from this the
project manager should be able to approach the team
mates and effectively develop specific tools and
techniques for the project.
Time and scheduling is very important for the project.
Preparing a project plan with the help of the project
management tool is done by the project manager. It helps
them in keeping track of the activities that are being
covered in the project. Planning is essential for the
successful closure of the project within proper time ad
budget. The application of the PPPM helps in identification
of the resources which may be needed for the successful
completion of the project.
It is the utmost important duty of the project manager to
guide the project in a proper direction. The resources are
