2 Question 2
2.1 Part A- First aid requirement
XYZ cares for life of workers on site. The company is working to ensure that there are zero
incidences at the construction site. The company has a dedicated WHS manager who works
on site fulltime. The company plans to employ 40-50 workers on the site each day on
Strathfield Apartment project. The company intends to employ 3 trained and experienced first
aiders on site who shall uphold Safe Work Australia guidelines in conjunction with Work
Health Safety Act.
As per Safe Work Australia, it is a requirement to employ at least one first aid for every 50
works in areas which are termed as low-risk such as offices, for 25 workers in workplaces
that are considered as high risk such as construction sites, and for 10 workers in workplaces
that are remote and have a high risk, such as mine site.
The XYZ company will be in close consultation with the QHSE manager in matters regarding
subcontractors and employees in regard to safety matters. The manager shall identify all
hazards related to any task, assess the possibility and risk, provide necessary trainings and
safety induction and revise the requirement depending with the situation at hand.

Health Records Act dictates that the records should include;
