The intent of this report is to present a business plan of a coffee shop by highlighting its key
operations, marketing plan, operating plan, and environmental management plan, along with
its financial plan.
Overview of Business
Delice Coffee Bar is focused towards becoming an everyday requirement for the
coffee addicts, a location that escapes the day-to-day life stresses and just a contented place
where people can read books or meet their friends, with an all in one concept. Delice will be a
limited liability company that will be involved in selling coffee and other beverages in the
2,300 square feet area placed near the University of the Sunshine Coast. The owner of the
business has planned to operate its business near university because it desires to make
students and teachers feel delighted and refresh and forget all the pressure and stress they are
going through. The restaurant is owned by Grey with a 51% share of the business. His
relatives Shirley and Charlie hold minority stakes in the business. In the initial stage with
small level operations, the administrative work and beverages will be prepared by Grey along
with, Shirley will be responsible for managing finance and Charlie will look into the
marketing and customer service area.

investments and via bank loans. Mr. Grey holds 51% contribution in the share capital,
Shirley and Charley holds the remaining share equally. The contribution from Mr.
Grey’s side is $38250 whereas the remaining two partners contributed $18375 each.
Except Coffee grinder, blender and cutlery, the remaining assets needed funding
which were acquired through bank loan, such as one year loan of $15000 and 3 year
loan of $25000 (CRPC, 2015).
The cash inflows are not enough in the starting to pay back the loan, yet the coffee
shop can pay back the loans after three to four months.
