Executive summary
The study will discuss about the two types of technology used for the internet connection.
The internet connection is provided through various forms and technology processes,
however the study will discuss about the leased line and broadband connection. The impact
of these two connection, their usage, scope for connection provision, their availability,
costing, scope for use in business. The study will show a comparison of these two
technologies and how they are used by the organization and users. The technology has their
own set of advantages and disadvantages that has been mentioned in the study. The study will
start with a discussion on the operational technologies of the two systems, then it will show a
brief analysis of the technologies, the analysis will be followed by a discussion and
comparison between the two technologies. It will also show a justification and selection the
desired technology for business purpose and how and why the selection will be done will be
mentioned in the study. The study will end with a conclusion and recommendation for both

Introduction:
The study will discuss about the use of fibre broadband and fibre leased line connection, there
usage and a comparison between these two connectivity. The study will highlight the
operating system, technology used, analyse the entire system and also give recommendation
accordingly. The use of technology has become an important in the daily human life. The
technology that is connecting people are one of the most important source of technology. The
connections that are used by the human being to get connected to each other are broadband,
fibre leased line and many more (Cheng et al 2015). However the study will only discuss
about the fibre broadband and fibre leased line technology and compare them with respect to
their performance and connectivity criteria.
The fibre broadband and fibre leased line both provide internet access to the users at a fixed
subscription cost. The user has to pay a certain amount to access the network and use the
internet. The fibre leased lineis one of the dedicated connection between the premise and
local exchange. A technology that uses glass to transmit data called fibre optic technology.
The fibre optic cable consists of a bundle of glass threads among which each is capable of
transmitting messages into light waves. They have greater bandwidth than metal cables.
Operation of the technology:
The term fibre broadband defines the network that is optical fibre and carry a communication
sign from a particular operator to home. The technology has been found to be more robust
and trustworthy than any other technology.
