INTRODUCTIONA teacher is an individual which provides knowledge and education to pupils & students.Role of a teacher is ongoing and formal which is performed at school, colleges and other placesassociated with education. To became a good teacher, a person is required to have specificprofessional qualifications either from a college or university (Elliott, J. ed., 2012). Teaching is acomplex activity and the competencies needed by a professional teacher is impacted by differentaspects such as an instructor, expert learner or civic person. This assignment is based on theresponsibilities, roles and boundaries of a professional teacher. Beside this, issues associatedwith delivery and planning of learning sessions will be mentioned. Personal experience of ateacher and excellent lesson plan of micro teaching session will be discussed in a detailedmanner. MAIN BODY Teacher is a person which help other people to gain value, competencies and knowledge.In informal manner, the roles and responsibilities of a teacher can be taken by any individualwhich is capable to provide required knowledge to others. But in case of formal teaching, it iscarried out by paid professional teachers. Professional duties of a teacher is not limited toacademic education only but it is extended up-to field trip, study halls, supervisor of differentcurricular activities etc. Teaching is a practice which reflects the values of being a responsibleperson for ourself and others. To be a good teacher, an individual is required to learn newconcepts and knowledge after they qualify. This will help them in achieving continuousprofessional development. Other than that, teachers can use lesson plan so that their students canbe offered with appropriate course of study that is known as curriculum. Those teachers whichprovide academic education or other kind of knowledge to a single person are called as personaltutors (Korthagen, F. A., 2013). In order to be an effective and good teacher, a person must incorporate patience in itsbehaviour. This is because, the work of a teacher is to provide necessary information andknowledge to its students so that they can perform well in different stages of life. But thisprocedure is not easy, as it is a time taking task to transform an individual into a responsibleperson. To achieve this, a teacher must have patience. Beside this, to be an efficient teacher, aperson needs to be professionally qualified which must be capable to manage hyperactive1
