INTRODUCTION
A report can be referred to as a documentation that depicts data in a planned as well as
organised format for a stipulated set of audience and for a definite purpose (Muller, 2017). Even
though it is seen that summary of reports can be delivered in an oral manner, complete reports
are generally devised only in the written form. This is a report based upon a research project on
“Globalisation and its impacts” and the overall analysis of various sections of this project.
1.1 Critically select and synthesise information for a set purpose from three different sources
To collect information upon the topic “Globalisation” assigned to team for conducting
research, a number of resources are considered such as books, journals and internet search
engines. In this regard, it has been ascertained that globalisation is a concept which refers to the
integration of persons, business entities, nations, political systems and economies across the
globe (Svejvig and Andersen, 2015). The research was conducted in a systematic manner
wherein firstly a literature review wherein views and opinions of a number of authors, scholars
and scientists were taken into account. The next step was to collect the information by making
use of methodologies such as primary and secondary research as well as qualitative and
quantitative methods (Hornstein, 2015). Then, data collection was done by way of questionnaire
and interpretation was done on the basis of results obtained from the respondents. Further, the
conclusion and recommendations were given with the help of which an organisation can easily
facilitate the process of globalisation. Lastly, the conclusions based on the project are provided to
provide a gist of the overall findings of the project.

On the basis of feedback obtained upon written report as well as the views and opinions
of members, it can be said that the team collectively displayed precision. Also, it was pointed out
by the tutor that an in-depth knowledge was presented by the team mates and the members were
successfully able to collect data about all the major aspects related to globalisation (Larson and
Gray, 2017). Further, the team members were of the view that the integration of their time,
efforts and energy resulted in fulfilment of all the necessary criteria of project.
2.1 Detailed plan on a complex subject within business planning project
To execute a report upon such a vast topic is never easy and thus to carry out such an act,
planning of activities becomes essential as well as imperative. In this regard, the group planned
that there would be 6 meetings, one meeting in every 3 days and 2 days for compilation which
would mean that all the work would be completed within 20 days. The next 10 days will be
utilised by the team to effectively read all the information of the project so that the members can
feasibly present the information in front of the audience.
