INTRODUCTION
Torres Strait Islander are the Indigenous peoples of the Torres Strait Island which are part
of state Queensland in Australia(Beddoe and et.al., 2016). Ethically it is from Aboriginal people
of rest of Australia where they are group with them as indigenous Australian. In current situation
there are many Torres Strait Islander people living in main island Austraila . Many people are
work in border designation of Torres Straits Islander people based partly on geographical and
cultural division. In this report, topic would cover in essay form theories and ideas to clearly
circulated and accurately explained. There is depth understanding about Aboriginal and Torres
Strait islander where the must to elaborates about challenges of myrid that faces by social worker
those who are work in Grassrots level in perspective of first nation of Australian. Hence there is

Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander is divided in Aboriginal Australian are segregate
within two groups one is related who are stays in existing region of Australia and other are
colonizing from Britain at the time of 1788. The key belief and values of Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander are based on effective understanding of the world that integrates through spiritual
world within having material and emphasis about individual's relationship to community. Some
of different form of culture is amongst work in Aboriginal communities and Torres Strait
Islander. This is motive to form better sustainable diversity between mainland Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander. They are separate people to having origin history and having origin to
create origin within the history and way of life even some point of investigated. Aboriginal and
Torres Straits Islander people are faces core issues which driven to sustainable in Australian
region(Chan and Holosko, 2016). The factor of richness and diversity about Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander culture within something for undertaken pride in nation.Since about the
consolidation in which Australian through European Settlers. The history of injustice which has
meant Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander which depicts about basic human right such as right
to health, housing, employment and education. People of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander

Core Issues-
There are various types of issues which are faced by the Aboriginal and Torres Islander
People and therefore it is quite important that the identification of these issues is done so that the
measures can be taken in the right manner to solve them in the proper manner. The issues which
are facing these people are explained as follows-
 Rights- These people face an issue related to their rights and this creates an impact on
them(Deusdad, Comas-d’Argemir and Dziegielewski, 2016). Therefore, it can be said
that this impacts them a lot. They face issues due to the fact that their rights are not given
appropriate level of importance and thus it can be said that due to these issues their
overall status is also impacted.
 Discrimination- These people also face a lot of discrimination from the various sections
of people in the society. Thus, it can be said that this affects them a lot and creates an
impact on them. This is so because due to the discrimination which they are facing in the
society their overall status is impacted.
 Native Title- These people face an issue because they have not got a Native Title and
therefore this creates an impact on them. Therefore, it can be said that this creates a
problem for these people because due to lack of a clear title they are highly impacted.
 Health- As these people live in the remote areas of the country, they do not have a proper
access to proper health infrastructure(Gehlert, 2019). This is so because there is a lack of
presence of good hospitals in their areas. Therefore, this affects these people a lot as
because of the lack of proper health infrastructure they have to face a lot of problem in
getting the treatment which is required for the purpose of dealing with these health issues.
 Language and cultural heritage- These people face an issue related with Language and
cultural heritage because their social status has been affected a lot. Due to this particular
reason and the lack of concern and awareness shown by the Government towards them
they face this particular issue which is affecting them a lot.
Therefore, these are the main issues which are faced by these people and therefore this
impacts them a lot. Due to these issues they feel that they are neglected by the
Government as it is not paying any attention towards their condition. Thus, it can be said
