Task 1:
In software engineering, a context diagram is one type of block diagram that can
provide every boundary or environment between the system. This environment can display
every entity that is interacting with the system (Aleryani. 2016). This diagram can provide a
high-level view of a system. This diagram can be developed during the project investigation.
This diagram can be included in the requirement specification document (Sauter. 2019). Due
to the natural language, most of the project stakeholders can understand the context diagram.

The above figure 1 context diagram can provide the necessary workflow of the
system. This system can manage and perform any task with the help of different actors. A
student needs to log into the system to access the system from their mobile device, tablet, and
computer browser. After successful login, a student can view all the available subjects, and
they can enrol in a subject or drop the subject. The old system is manual-based. In new
system timetabling, officers cam create, edit and remove different courses. Apart from the

course, they can also edit subjects in each course. In this system, pro-vice Chancellor monitor
and maintain online student enrolment system that can assist a student in completing their
enrolment. They also can check the payment status of a student. Timetabling officers can
create, remove, and edit time tables for every available subject by using the new system.
Program directors can provide course and subject information. They also can generate
different kinds of reports.
Task 2:
The level 0 data flow diagram displays the entire system data flow and highlights the
way how the system can interact with every external entity (Khedker, Sanyal & Sathe. 2017).
This diagram is also known as a context diagram. Level 0 diagram can provide how the
online student enrolment system works with the business (Alyafei. 2016). The design of this
diagram can provide the abstraction view and display a single process with the relationship to
their entities.
