Employability skills is understood as some necessary skills and attributes that are
possessed by individual so that they could find a suitable job for them. Additionally, technical
knowledge and good understanding towards a particular subject would lead to completion of task
in a predetermined period of time which enhance future success. It possesses certain soft skills
which are considered as foundation of every job as it enhances career growth as individual tends
to be take responsibility on their own and make effective choices by solving complicated
problems in a best possible manner. This report covers several skills that must be possessed by
employees so as to improve their performance as they have to work which is pertaining to goal
which improve the overall effectiveness in a workplace.

employees lack certain skills then it would emphasise more on training and development
programmes which help in polishing their skills and thus maximise their talent and skills. There
are several skills such as team spirit, collaboration, communication skills and many more as this
help in rendering better knowledge among the employees and make them capable of handling
challenging task and positions that improve the overall performance. Changes are taken place at

students are being prepared so that they could facilitate the changes quickly and try to grab every
opportunity create self-sustainability (Remi Scoupe and Simon Beausaert. 2019). There are
several competencies approach which help individuals to polish them with skills, knowledge and
competencies. Various conceptualisations that enhance employability skills such as career
identity, corporate sense and so on which create a great reflection on an individual’s career.
Advantages of employability skills in a workplace
There are several advantages of employability and academic skills which are elucidated below:
Accelerating productivity: New freshers or graduated tends to work in such a company
which provide a greater career development. In many of developed countries like UK, employees
are highly interested on those companies in which they get proper guidance as well as
apprenticeship programmes which immense their knowledge level as this would develop a
greater understanding of task by fulfilling the responsibilities and thus ensure greater career
satisfaction.
Improve team spirit: learners and employees must work together in team by achieving a
common purpose as this would enhance the overall performance so people must use their own
strength and skills so that they could work in a collaboration so that they could enhance more
efficiency.
