INTRODUCTION
Global event includes all those events which are being hosted for limited duration that
have global reach, which requires public investment and have overall impacts on the public.
(Cheng and et.al., 2019). Global events are being hosted of interest to an audience. Civic and
political leaders play a vital role in global event. In the context of Olympic global event it can be
said that it has long-lasting impacts on the city in which this global event is being hosted. One of
the main positive impacts which this event has is people remember such events for decades. It is
undoubtedly a fantastic proving ground for athletes. It is the stage where they get opportunities to
prove themselves by completing against of a similar level on an international stage. It also helps
them out to measure their effectiveness and fulfil their dream. It increases valuable tourism,
boosts local economies and increase a country's global trade. On the other hand, there are some
negative impacts of this global event which this study will discuss in detail. Some negative
impacts which this Olympic global event has including: financial drain, expensive infrastructure
in the city where they are hosted, increases burden on the people of the host city. It will also
discuss some negative impacts on global event on tourism which affects people as whole and one
of the main negative impact is travel inconvenience, risks of security, increasing pollution,
damages to environment, price inflation and others (Maqsood and et.al., 2020). The main aim of
this report is to identify critical impacts and overall effectiveness of Olympic global event on the
economy, environment, societies and others. The economic impacts one of the main perspective
or area on which global events affect the most. other than this environment and society is also
affected by Olympic global event.

event has both negative and positive impacts on several sectors. The main aim of this analysis is
