have a global reach. Events that are carried out at a global scale require significant public
investment and can impact the population. Global events are important for a country as they help
in improving its overall economic development. Apart from this, they also significantly
contribute to the tourism and also create generate employment. Countries that are considering a
bid can face various issues, both positive as well as negative (Bailey and Belfield, 2019). These
issues can include an increased tax rate or political condition of the country. There are different
ways that can be used for maximising the benefits and also, minimising the challenges of hosting
the Olympics. This report includes a small introduction along with identification of three
perspectives. It also includes an explanation of the various impacts of hosting the Olympics.
Olympics is a famous global event that attracts participants from different countries and
is conducted once every 4 years. Events that are conducted at a global level involve a huge
investment of time as well as money. The positive and negative impacts of the Olympic Games

very important to have effective planning in place. This is because a lack of effective planning
can lead to creating various barriers for the country. Individuals from different countries

resources should be utilized in an effective manner in order to ensure that the level on impact on
the environment is reduced to the maximum. The cost of maintenance should be justified and the
