INTRODUCTION
 This presentation aims to highlight the difference between
academic and other writings. Every day it is found that writing
is playing an important role in order to communicate any
message to people.
 Writing style decide the understanding of person. In universities
and scholarly publications used academic writing as it is the
formal writing which needs to be understand by each and every
students.

 There is a difference found between academic and other writing style which can be understand with the help of

ACADEMIC WRITING NON ACADEMIC WRITING
It is the writing which is used generally for the writing a specific
academic topic or subject.
This writing is concerned with writing of general topic.
These writings are based on academic research and findings. These are based on general topic or conversation.
The main purpose of academic writing is to inform readers with
the help of solid evidence.
In the case of other writing, it is found that the purpose is to
entertain, inform or persuade the readers.
It can be include some complex sentences which is not easy to
understand.
Generally short and simple sentences are found in this writing.
It is presented in structured manner. It is in unstructured manner.

 Academic writing is found to be complex as it uses some words which cannot be easy to
understand.
 Due to this, students are found to be face key vocabulary issues.
 In order to resolve vocabulary issues, it is necessary for students that they should find the
meaning of that word from dictionary so that they are able to understand the meaning of
particular statement.
