Concept of personal and professional development among students within academics
The concept of personal, professional development in academics within career holds
high scale importance within academics for enhancing overall productive targets within
academics with efficiency, which enhances scope for professionalism among individuals.
Concept of professional development holds high importance, to prioritize efficacy among subjects and
to enhance goals formulation variedly for integrating best competencies engagement actively
(Nykanen and et.al, 2021).
Discussion of the value within short term goals and personal examples
The short term goals are goals formed for small time, based on less than 6 months’ target
which further enables and prepares individuals for attaining optimum efficacy within
personal lives as well as professionally. Examples of short term goals are based on aspects,
where working of any project, or any other skill professionally in profession is example of
short term objective.
Getting a new certificate or degree.
Improve your performance numbers in academics or in any subject
Improve your networking and communication skills, by taking part in projects
Value of medium term goals and examples
The medium term academic goals are formed for attaining specific objective and
target, as per more expanded time than small term goals but shorter than long term which
enhances scope towards professional integrity rapidly (Torres Martín, and et.al, 2021).
Examples of medium term are based on aspect, where examples are taking up leadership
project, enhancing knowledge related to any specific project and taking up diploma course for
engaging with best skills.
Study – Achieving more than 70% or higher in next academic exam
Fitness – To gain strength in muscles, and reduce percentage of fat
Money – Get job in desired company with good pay, for attending career new specific
medium term goals.
Value of long term academic goals identifying at least 3 personal examples
The long term performance goals in academics are identified and formed with focus on
extended time periods, where time period is over more than 1 year which further heads on
