Preparing for Culture shock Culture shock is defined as feeling of confusion, uncertainty, confusion or anxiety which individuals have to face while doing business or sustaining within society which is different from the home country. The culture shock is defined as the experience of an individual with unfaliliar things and culture. The social norms can differ around the regions and countries. The culture shock can arise for unfamiliarity of person with the local customs, language and acceptable behaviour. The culture shock is generally most intense at the starting of staying in foreign country in a good manner. There are different types of preparing for a cultural shock. This is important as it is useful in learning regarding the new culture. The main aspects while staying in different culture are communication, time difference, climate, conflict resolution, transportation, taboos, technology, ethical practices, etc.A term known as “ecoshock” is definedas some traumatic, acute reaction to an identifiable event. This is basically the reaction physiological and psychological reaction any new thing, culture or reaction. The main problem faced while travellingtoanothercountryisthatindividual'sbiologicalclockshaveproblemwhile synchronising with the local time. Another thing which an individual has to face problem is physiologicaladjustmentandthisincludesmanagingthetemperature,humidity,warmth, altitude, etc. These aspects are ones which are coped within the initial stages ofcultural shock. There are few individuals who keep travelling to another country and this is the reason they frequently face ecoshock.
