INTRODUCTION
Academic integrity is code of conduct on moral values which needs to be take care by any
students during the course of their work in order to complete their work in an honest
way(Eaton, 2020). This report contains a brief description about academic integrity and its
importance in higher education universities. This report also contains various implications of
academic misconduct which has been observed in most of the cases in universities. In the
second part of the report it contains various steps which are taken by an individual during the
production of game of academic integrity. Later on there are several skills which are
developed throughout the academic year and also during the production of game.
TASK 1
Academic Integrity
Academic integrity refers to the model code of conduct which needs to be followed buy any
academic writer. It is ethical policy of Academy which support the enactment of educational
values with the help of behaviours like avoidance of contract cheating and cheating and
supports maintenance of academic standards with proper honesty and rigour in research and
academic publishing. Any type of academic writing the efforts and pride of a writer and no
writer has a right to cheat or copy their writing as it is wrong with the writer who originally
writes that. In order to protect the right of Writers academic integrity has been developed
which define moral code of ethical policies of Academy (Eaton, 2020). The grandfather of
academic integrity is Don McCabe of United States of America it is because the term
academic integrity has been popularized by this person only. There are several important
academic integrity scholars who include Tracey Bretag of Australia, Cath Ellis of Australia,
Sarah Elaine Eaton of Canada and many more. Academic integrity for students means to
make them learn the values to be in practice of being honest in the academic work they do at
their universities. It also includes being fair to others and take responsibility for the learning
they have at their course in the university.
The importance of academic integrity in higher education
Academic integrity is a very essential part of Higher Education. It helps students in several
ways in order to make them learn at their courses. There are so much of benefits of academic
