Introduction
Academic integrity is the basic concept which means putting down the values in practice
to the student daily life. These are mainly related to academic misconduct, being fair to
others, taking different responsibilities and learning different variable which are highly
related to different sources and manage abilities to work and ownership (Denham, 2020).
This assignment include the two major parts, first one with basic meaning, importance and
implication of academic integrity. Whereas with the help of second part a major self-
reflection is provided which shown the difficulties path and new skills learn by the student
while producing an online game on academic integrity.
Section 1
Introduction to academic integrity
The fundamental right for following academic integrity is basically related to the growth
and achievement. This will be helpful for the student to share the community belief and
different norms which are helpful for improving behavioural approach, including honesty,
having fairness and responsibilities and many more sector which are related for the growth of
academic integrity and values (McCarthy, 2020). Further some of the major academic
integrity means valuing values into the daily life practise and make sure to being honest with
the academic life and their ethical consideration. Student must increase their understanding,
responsibilities and ensure the demonstration in the academic values which are highly related
to below points:
Using effective informative values which are used and having copyright and privacy
laws.
Always try to acknowledge the source form where a student collect the information.
Never try to present someone else work as your own work in the higher education.
Always try for conducting ethical research and make sure to work with the
university’s regulation in the student life (Mukhametzhanova and et.al., 2019).
Further this can be said that many of the university goals are try to enable and make
exchange the idea and develop the new knowledge which are highly related to make sure for
increasing trust and increase motivation level within society. As per the view point of
international centre for academic integrity (ICAI) has make sure that there are five pillars
which are related to academic integrity and make sure to generate a positive conversation
