Introduction Academic Integrity plays a very important role in the life of students. The present report involves the academic integrity importance and involves the various benefits and consequences of the academic integrity and also includes its influence or impact on the life of student’s. It involves the various practices done by a student that comprises of breaking the university rules. It also includes students copying without getting into breaking the rules. It also includes the discussion on the academic integrity importance in higher education and implications of the academic misconduct. Section 1 An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity The concept of academic integrity involves being true to the studies and having the fuller accountability and duty of work. For example, In various universities, students who write their assignment should have the duty while sharing data and information from various authors and they should be honest in their own work(Chu, Li and Mok, 2021). A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher education The concept of academic integrity can be understood in various methods and ways. The concept of academic practice can be divided among various components that involves service, teaching and research. The word integrity can be defined as the incorporation of the character’s excellence from good person to a good academic(Raibagkar, 2021).The concept of academic integrity plays a very major role when it comes to students as it helps in guiding the behavior and also determines the various values and beliefs. In context to university, academic integrity plays a very important role and helps in contributing towards the environment of universities. The concept of academic integrity plays a major role and helps in implementing the integrity, high standards and professional practice that helps in developing the skills of the students and also guides them in further employability. In relation to employability, academic integrity plays a significant importance. Integrity within work place relates to the principles and values and which guides an individual in daily operations.
It helps in providing the accurate skills and attributes that makes a job ready while studying in the university(Eaton, 2021). In context to higher education, academic integrity plays a very significant role as it helps in determining how students need to be honest and true to their work in the universities. It is important for the students to follow the university guidelines and should have taken fuller responsibility of their own work(Karnalim, 2021).In context to students, those who gives importance to the university values helps in showing their dedication and commitment towards their work and in context to students who perform misconduct or who are copying the work of some other need to face severe problems such as not able to pass in their assignments or work, not able to position themselves in the university and not going to be a part of the university. Therefore, it is important for the students to follow the regulations and rules directed by the university otherwise it could result in affecting the future of the student. Breaking of university rules and regulations can result in affecting the life of student, kicking them out of the university. For example, a student who is founded to be intentionally copying the work of other in order to get a degree without giving the other person the due credit is also a case of academic misconduct. When it comes to universities, they are very strict and protects the students who put up a lot of time and hard work for the purpose to achieve their degree(Almeer, Elsaid and Elkhatat, 2021). Discuss the implications of academic misconduct The concept of academic misconduct can be defined as something that provides a student an unearned advantage over another. Academic misconduct is basically a situation when a person is taking full benefit with out providing the due credit to the students who have actually worked hard in order to get a degree. It basically involves not giving the due credit and also sharing misleading information and breaking several laws of universities and individuals not being honest in their work (Glendinning, 2020). Plagiarism:It basically involves the activity of presenting other people work as yours without having any kind of information or knowledge about that work. In context to Universities, many students copy the work of some other person with out giving them the due credit. In many cases such situations turned out to be a very huge problem as it result in big risk of r students sharing their assignments(Nordin, 2019).Another academic misconduct

Professional Misconduct:It determines that students in the universities should behave in a professional manner while pursuing their degree in the universities and those who perform any kind of academic fraud will be considered as academic misconduct. The objective of professional misconduct involves allowing students to respect the regulations and rules which is important for them while studying in the university and graduating. Therefore it is very important for the students to give full credit and avoid copying the work of other people and putting efforts and time in doing their own work(Griffis, 2020). Cheating: Another academic misconduct is cheating which involves individuals copying other person’s work and cheating in their assignments or in exams which involves various ways of cheating. In various universities, students face a lot of difficulties that results in cheating and copying some body else work. In addition to that various universities are paying attention to offer the support and help to the students who are struggling with their assignments but when students follow the path of cheating it is considered to be practice of academic misconduct(Singhal, 2021). In addition to that there are various types of academic misconduct that happens in the universities which involves duplication of work, false declaration, commissioning, theft of work and black mail or bribery or paying for assignments(Tran, Marshall and Hogg, 2022). Section 2 Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game for Project 2 During the time of producing the game, in my team I faced a lot problems which basically involves having deep knowledge and understanding about the game and how I will be producing the game and changing the game into academic integrity rulers. It took me a lot of time to decide the game. The most tough task about the game was that I never played in the past which become more complicated for me to adopt the various academic integrity
rulers into the game and it also required a lot time and effort to fit into the game. In addition to that it become very hard for me to communicate with a team leader and also to put emphasis on learning the game. I the process of making the game, I had to understand a lot of tips and tricks in order to understand the game and various factors related to checking plagrism. Even after completion of game, I had to face a lot of issues. In addition to that it is important for me to understand the game in a better way and I would choose a more easier game that involves less time and can easily adapt the rules into the game and makes it easy for me to understand it better(Abbott and Nininger, 2021). Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in producing your game During my academic year, I learned a lot of skills in relation to my capabilities and also while preparing for my assignments It helped me a lot in doing my work and getting good score in my work. Another skill which I developed at the time of my academic year was organizational skills that helped a lot in organizing my tasks and being focused. During my second semester, the skills I learned during the preparation of game was team working and providing feedback on how to present the game in the right way. Another skill which I learnt working with the people with whom my thoughts did not match and have a chance of disagreements in relation to the game. In addition to that I had to be very open regarding my opinions for the purpose to be successful in the game. Another skill that I learnt was presentation skills which helped me in overcoming the fear of stage and being nervous and this helped me a lot in bringing up desired confidence in my work and also planning for all the work before presenting the game. Another important skill which I developed during my course was creativity that helps in making presentations and solving problems as a part of group sessions. Leadership skills also played a important role while creating the game. Team work is something which also played a very important role in creating the game(Lauer, 2018). Conclusion In this report, it involves the importance of academic integrity and how it plays a major role in the life of students and helps in providing fuller responsibility to other people regarding their work and also giving them the due credit for the hard work which they have put in their assignments. The report also covers the various types of academic misconduct
that happens in the universities which involves activities such as cheating, plagiarism and various other type of academic misconduct.
