game is briefly explained.
MAIN BODY
SECTION 1
An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is a moralistic policy that is followed by an academic institution and
it is bound to follow for an ethical practice for the institution. Integrity refers to the value that
shows everything that a student do in a university studies (Morris, 2018). The purpose of the
academic integrity is to in academic study for both students as well as teachers it is not just to
introduce and build and provide new knowledge but also to maximise its accuracy and fairness in
the institution community (Gamage, Silva, and Gunawardhana, 2020). In order to achieve an
individual must need to understand and develop with practice particular academic skills which
are correct referencing of knowledge as by this acknowledging the source it taken and providing
recognition creates a morale practice that it has not been cheated nor the practice of plagiarism
has been conducted, good academic writing as without plagiarism and copying of work it is
possible to prepare a good academic writing it requires knowledge and using own thinking by
not using any source of misconduct that violates academic integrity, independent thinking and
active reading practice gives extent to knowledge which reduce the chances of plagiarism and
misconduct as and knowledgable person will never depend on other source of information other
than his or her individual knowledge through active gaining information by reading practices

increase the chances of quality of information which will reduce the chances to happen a
misconduct and follow academic integrity, the ability to find and evaluate sources requires
enough knowledge and dependence on individual knowledge as an individual person who have
information about source has ability to relate and find useful information where as unknown to
this type of knowledge they will use sources like cheating, plagiarism, copying others work and
not giving recognition to the people the are using sources like referencing, efficient note making
and record keeping is effectively efficient for academic integrity as per by this institution have
records of people and their work for rechecking, categorizing etc. an international research based
institution the ICAI( The international centre for academic integrity) identified five pillars of
academic integrity to produce positive results from it, Honesty is sincere practice for academic
integrity as all the work practiced in institution or university by students or teachers requires
some level of honesty (Eaton, and Christensen Hughes, 2022). It is highly believed that honest
individuals take consideration of individual abilities and believe in representing their effort fairly
by avoiding any signs of misconduct. Trust in other people helps in increasing efficiency and
eases relationships. Due to trust a system gets established where people do best. Fairness go side
by side with trust. Every individual must have fairness in treated fairly and judged by the same
standard as all others in the institution. Respect allows value for an individual and share of
opinions equally is done. Listening and being prepared for meeting deadlines and performing at
the best of their abilities consider to show respect. Responsibility means taking or being

value and morals in behaviour of the individual. It will help in responsible manner in academic
by taking responsibility for their education as it shows the value of your education as academic
integrity rewards students by providing results in future and in long term. Using misconduct can
be a temporary solution but in future it is not worthy for development neither of skills nor getting
a secured and respectful career (Poitras Pratt, and Gladue, 2022). Academic integrity have

recognised for their genuine work it gives a sense of self respect and value towards
themselves, student develop the realization of worth in themselves (De Maio, and
Dixon, 2022). It is also important to avoid bad consequences like lacking knowledgable
information and result in failing an assignment or being rejected or being terminated by
the university.
ï‚· Students integrity will show and work to help them with their degree value in a honest
way. When a students cheats or they use misconducting ways for the institutional
process it always put bad impact on their educational field. In long term and in view of
future and developing skills, knowledge and making a secure information what a
education does is none of use with fading of the value with the process. This will result
in lack of credibility in the work and career of the student (Guerrero-Dib, 2020). It will
result in effecting huge professional goals and desire that student want from their career.
Example no health organisation will accept or hire a doctor who lack medical skills.
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
There are harsh consequences for academic misconduct and results are very unfavourable
for students. It results in serious consequences like cheating, plagiarism, unlicensed and other
forms of dishonesty are serious issue which can be followed by suspension or expulsion from the
university. Academic integrity requires to be followed by the institutions and rules outlined in
their handbook, established by the authorities. Universities require to have their standards and
must do not allow this type of practices so that they maintain a level in society. People do not
want to pursue knowledge from institution which have bad reputations (Muhammad,et.al 2020) .
The consequences of academic dishonesty are:
Social consequences:
social consequences discusses the moral consequences of cheating, including the habit
forming of cheating which will reduce integrity and fairness which will result in no gaining of
knowledge and always result in dependency on other people works. This habit will not only
effect in career and education but also in cheating in work, family life and other parts of life, in
long term this habit will result in affecting close people with the individual actions.
Inaccurate Assessment:
When a student cheat or use the method of plagiarism in academic process and other
project activities, the judging of performance by teacher and instructors are not accurate.

Experience of knowledge and some mastery while pursuing education is necessary. After getting
the degree or credentials to whose who do not really deserve will result in practically no use of
the fake skill they acquired in the workplace.
Legal consequences:
If an student cheats, use plagiarism, use copied or fabricated data in projects of
institutions and instructors realizes, this can result in formal actions from the university (Bens,
2022Hunter, 2022). These actions are fines, loss of future education projects, rejection,
termination. This not only destroy reputation of student as well the institution but also make the
loss of getting opportunities.
Implication of academic misconduct:
plagiarism:
Plagiarism is a form of academic integrity dishonesty that involves that involves copying
or using third person work and using it as your own. This can be because of several reasons why
people commit plagiarism in work and in educational background are because of poor time
management skills, laziness, lack of motivation or interest in work, fear of failure which results
in academic dishonesty, and the pressure to achieve academic success more fast. Academic
institution can take disciplinary actions without consultation as it affects students who work with
honesty and university image can get shattered if they get affected.
Cheating:
cheating is any dis honesty in behaviour that gives result in an unfair advantage in
academic activities and give temporary success. Like copying another student work, using
unauthorised notes or other material during test like phones, cheats, notes, altering the answers
on a quiz to make them correct unprofessionally (Stoesz, 2020). Every dishonesty has its
consequences and each consequence are not forgiving in universities which will result in
expulsion and more formal actions like failing or re appearing exams after being suspended for
years or months.
Professional misconduct:
Professional misconduct includes fabrication which is making any information or data
and presenting it as own and true. Fabricated research is dishonest behaviour which includes
adding or removing sentences without changing sentences or meaning, deleting letter rows etc.

fabrication academic work can have negative consequence as being expelled from institution, not
receiving a degree.
SECTION 2
Reflection
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game for
Project 2.
While designing the game the step by step process taking was very crucial as it required
time and engagement to build the game good and play able, things must be kept in mind about
the game. what decision must be taken while designing the game the first step was to establish a
team or group of people with particular knowledge so that the game can be design. A framework
was build of the game and further group was divided into more small group who are assigned
tasks to complete smaller objectives which will be combined at the point at which the game will
fully designed. The smaller group were assigned to do tasks like designing, presenting, and
mathematical skills about the game. I was in the lead of designing the game. Creative and
designing team gave instruction to mathematical team to add this features which was further
passed down to team which was designed for playing at classroom. The game must be promoted
for which interactive team had taken charge to promote the game to students and people who
lacked skills about the topic academic integrity. We have to ensure the team has knowledge of
academic integrity so that while designing the game no confusion has to be arise to the teams
and the topic should be reflect properly in the game. Quality of the game was our first priority as
better the quality the more people will show interest in the game and interaction through the
game cane be more efficient. At last the game was fully prepared with the help of the teams and
tested properly with the groups and some students so they can find it good and the game
designing and all the people efforts can be successful afterwards a launching event was done and
game was launched for the students.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in producing
your game.
While designing this game I had to apply many skills so that this game can be productive
for students. Many skills were required time to time and at some places so that game must not be
boring and students find it interesting as it targets younger generation for gaining knowledge in

academic integrity. The game needs presentation skills so that the game will be interactive and
make the game more communicative towards player or students. Design and creativity skills are
also needed for the game to be perfect and unique design is required so it do not look common
like other game. Creativity in designing the game so that students gain knowledge from the
game.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been concluded that academic integrity is very important for
future as well as present as it will effect an individual in future process with habit development,
developing motivation and morale for self investment. This process also involves the avoidance
of practice of misconduct and plagiarism as it have no benefits in long term. It will have mass
damage because no skill developing and knowledge is gathered. From this report introduction of
academic integrity, importance of academic integrity with its implications has been discussed at
last the game skills requirement and what benefits it will provide to the game it has been
explained.
